This looks bad, his hair in SS shape but Black.. just making it flow upwards without turning full spiky would look so much better..
And the red watery aura around him looks even worse..

I highly doubt this is the definitive look for the new form (if that's what this is even implying). It's just a teaser, much like the glimpse of Goku cladded with red aura in the OP.

And the hair is not SS shape anyway. It's actually an «original» hairstyle and not a recolour. But yeah, I doubt this is the actual look as well.

So if Goku gets a new form, is it going to be noticeably better than Blue or not worth a damn? Because Blue generally didn't make much of a difference half the time due to Super's writing style.

For one theres an ahoge like Black's SSJRose if you look closer on his front, inb4 thats actually Black reincarnated. Super Saiyan Black Rose.

Nope, not seeing the glaring differences..
These are sublet changes which are even drawn by mistake sometimes..
Goku had a similar SS hairstyle in his first fight against black..

Do you really think Goku's SS hair looks like that on its back? I don't see why I need to point out anything, just look at an image of Goku's back while in SS and look at its hair...Definetly not the same shape at all. Way less spikey, except the very back of it the rest is not as up as in his SS form, and it's missing hair bangs on the back as well. Just try to imagine it in front. The result is a hair not as spikey as the SS form on the front. Next to his ear he has a curly bang. Just looking at the back it almost seems like two of the bangs could be horns with this perspective. Thag doesn't happen in the SS form because, again, SS has way more hair bangs. It also has a single hair popping out like Black in Rosé but that's a minor thing. It isn't a completely new hairstyle like SS3 but definetly not a simple recolour of SS's hair.

That being said, I agree about the aura/steam/whatever it is. It looks underwhelming.

That ahoge stands out way too much for it to be a mistake in a still poster that they could remove in an instant unless they're going for something that looks even a tad different to show a little change, its the same thing with SSJB, its a SSJ1 hair Goku with a hairstand that they sometimes dont add, and it looks and feels really different from your usual recolor, Goku's SSJ hair in the back is nothing like that unless they botched it up like Gogeta's case in the 4D movie.

Like I said, many times have I seen SS being drawn like that, call it a mistake or an acceptable error margin, but that's not a fully different hairstyle, and absolutely not as different as SS3, that's stretching it too far even if I were to agree on your point..

We will eventually find out a hair bang here and there and call it the new different form's defining characteristic, but it's not happening right now, not when the situations mentioned exist..

I'm having a weird time trying to understand the text as I read it in a lot of different meanings. The first one says *God's technique* second *Ultimate* if I put it in a sentence it comes out as ''This is God's ultimate technique'' I barely hear anyone mention those words so I'm not sure tho

Yes that one, its saying ''God's ultimate technique'' which is weird, shouldnt it be God's ultimate form or something maybe thats a technique, or are transformations considered as techniques as well? or maybe the text is implying something other than the visual.

New form, officially confirmed. I always liked the idea of Goku having a form where he masters his Saiyan powers to the point where his hair doesn't change colors. I'm a fan of black haired Goku. I also like the idea of it looking like SSJ hair, just to have a visual difference between whatever the form is and his base.

They're still hiding the two silhouette fighters, I wonder what they could be.

The emphasis in these screens seems to be placed on U7 and U6 specifically, big surprise. I guess they'll be watching each other's backs.

The pic isn't Goku's form it's a tease, the keyword here is "trying to". They're not gonna randomly reveal the form they been teasing for months like this.
