The best part is the characters pointing out how the special makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.

Especially Gohan at the end.

TFS improved that special by exponential values.
Kentai wrote:Son Gokuu is a fascinating character anyway, because he is - at face value, anyway - an idiot savant. The victim of violent head trauma as an infant [...] he's a simple bumpkin with a fair share of brain damage who's natural talents to work out what's wrong compensate for his broad lack of common sense. But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

I don't know if I disliked Chilled's voice more because it was just annoying, or because I was looking forward to more Little Kuriboh....

Anyway, fantastic job.

Anyway, what can I say that hasn't already been said? I loved it, huge step up from the Cooler Movie which I didn't particularly enjoy.
Basically how I feel. This was brilliant from start to finish.

So I'm assuming you guys are gonna release Kai Episode 2 some time before the end of the year, then start with Season 3 in January?

I'm imagining Frieza's transformations in Kai 2 right now.

"Frieza"
"Vegeta"
*1 second fight*
Vegeta: Transform!
*Frieza Transforms*
Vegeta: Oh crap
*Big explosion*
*Krillin owned moment*
*Big Gohan moment*
*Frieza gets up*
Gohan: Oh crap
*Gohan beatdown*
*Tail slice*
*Benny Hill*
*Dende heals Gohan*
Krillin: Solar Flare! *flees*
Frieza: Dammit!
*Krillin arrives back*
*Frieza arrives back*
*Big Ki Blast spam*
*Piccolo arrives and beats up Frieza*
*Frieza Transforms and owns Piccolo*
Frieza: Bored now
Vegeta: Kill me
*Krillin blasts Vegeta*
*Little Green moment*
*Frieza transforms into final form*
*Blasts Dende*
Vegeta: Super Saiyan Swagga!
*Frieza owns Vegeta*
*Goku arrives*

There's so much in the Frieza Saga to put into a Kai 2 I'm wondering just how random it will be, lol.

Am I the only one who actually didn't mind Chilled's voice? I thought it was kind of funny in that the villain didn't look or sound anywhere near as villainous as the guy who was supposed to be the hero of the special. The guy was more sympathetic than Bardock!

Or at least, that's what I took away from it.

Naw, I rather liked it, too.

Perhaps if Chilled was a recurring or regular character I might have a problem, but nope. For a one-shot villain, a goofy gimmick voice like this works great, and was hilarious to hear.

I loved it, and even if it was long-term I'd still think it's awesome.

I thought Chilled's voice was fine, it fit his appearance, at least to me any way.

I just realized that Episode Of Bardock is the first TeamFourStar video in a while that I felt was more "abridged", like Ninjabridge and None Piece, than just a DBZ FanDub with jokes, like the last 20 episodes has felt like for me. Is anyone else getting that feeling?

Chilled's voice could have been annoying for another character, but it worked well for a more cartoonish and over the top Freeza. The performance gets more funny the more I hear it.

The "Nappa and Vegeta Let's Play" was fun to watch. I feel like Taka's mic volume was up too high though (or Lani's mic volume was too low).

Just waiting for someone to draw Nappa and Vegeta in their Let's Play characters' outfits now. XD
On hiatus.
