Anyway, on topic: I thought DB:E was better than Wolverine.

Wolverine had a strange pace to it. Some of the scenes didn't feel right either. And I have a problem with the characters being as old as they are, in the film. I mean, Logan and Victor are an exception, but Gambit, Blob and "Deadpool" seem a little too old. If this movie takes place 20 years before X-Men, then that places all of them in their 50s(Excluding Logan and Victor).

Actually, most people consider her to the best Catwoman. Granted she couldn't be as flirty with Batman like Julie Newmar was due to prejudices back in the 60s but even Ms. Newmar and Ms. Merriweather say she did better than them.

Just out of curiosity, were you a big X-Men fan before seeing Wolverine? I just saw it this afternoon and liked it a lot, but I've only seen one X-Men movie (#2) and never really was into the X-Men in any way before seeing the movies. I also liked Wolverine better than I did X-Men 2, though that's probably because I was understanding what was going on right from the start.

As for DB:E being better than Wolverine, I could not disagree with you more. I would go so far as to say that Dragonball: Evolution was objectively bad, meaning that no reasonable person would find it to be a good movie. Of course, that makes it subjectively objectively bad because it's my opinion, but don't read too much into that (and please don't interpret that as an insult in any way). Maybe it was a matter of my expectations, but when you put the fights in Wolverine, particularly the last fight, against the ones in Dragonball: Evolution, specifically the Goku v. Piccolo fight, I don't see any way in which DB:E could possibly trump Wolverine. I don't see any way DB:E could trump anything, actually. I was truthfully offended by that movie. I laughed with Wolverine; I laughed at DB:E.

This brings me back to my original point. Is it possible/likely that I would have disliked Wolverine if I was as big an X-Men fan as I am a DB-Z-GT fan (seen all series multiple times, own all video games, watching for the last 12 years, etc.)?

Who was the exact opposite of the Catwoman from the sixties. Dear lord. That movie still gives me nightmares. It wasn't "so bad it's good" like Batman and Robin. It was "so bad it's terrible".

Whatever the case, I'm glad the final Piccolo had the subdued, "embedded" antennae instead of protruding, dangly ones. They just look silly to me in real life, and probably would have ruined Piccolo's badassery.

When that came out, most guys I knew deemed it a movie to watch on tv and not spend money on. Mainly just to look at halle Berry in that outfit. Heh heh heh.
