Back it the early 2000s (god, do I feel old typing that), it was a big deal to get just a little new animation in the form of a video game intro. Now, after getting new specials and movies... OMG OMG OMG the anime itself is returning!!!

I'm playing Makafushigi Adventure right now and getting teary-eyed.

I just hope they don't go the all-CGI way. I'mean, the CG in BoG & RF was good for fast fighting action, but I don't want everything to look like that.

I wonder if Gen Fukunaga has been calling Kozo Morishita today?. Is it at all possible they may have spoken about this a couple of weeks back at the Red Carpet event for "F"?.
I think FUNi will be all over this, and may even broadcast dub it if possible, it's too much of a big deal for them to pass up on like they did for Buu Saga Kai.

Speaking of Kai, perhaps todays announcement will influence FUNi to get it out with more haste than what they had originally planned, so they can focus more on "Super".

Whoa! Since I was busy with other matters, I am definitely looking forward to this! The DBS could put GT away for good.

Just the pure fact that DBS is set after the Majin Boo arc, pretty much retcons GT out of existence.

There is a difference between after buu arc and end of Z ya know. Either way I think everyone is already overhyping this beyond reason, it merely got announced and we're already treating it like it's gonna be a AAA+ super amazing 300 episode series. I remember how the Saint Seiya fandom went through this when they announced Soul of Gold, we had no idea what it was and we speculated everything from a movie to a full new series. Then Soul of Gold turned out to be a 13 episode OVA. While I am all for the hype train, I think we should slow down till we have more details. Don't wanna hype Super into god tier then have it come out and fail to meet our expectations!

I'd love to see Toriyama's take on older versions of Pan, Bulla, Goten and Trunks, but "aftermath of Majin Buu" makes it seem like we're going back to the same time period that BoG and RoF occurs within. Not that I particularly mind either way considering it's my favorite time period in the series.

The other universes would be nice, but I don't think they're a necessity at this point. I'm just happy to see an actual serialization return.

Yeah, it's all starting to come together, now. The mutliverse may be explored with more depth in DBS.

I really hope they don't hesitate to shake up the art style. This is a new series, not DBZ. DBZ had a different art syle than DB. This new series should also have a new art style. Make it like Toriyama's drawings. DO IT
