I wonder where Vegeta and Cabba are in all of this? Vegeta went after U6 in the previous batch of summaries but it doesn't look like he went after the Saiyans since Cauli and Kale are talking to Goku. Did he go after Hit after all? Or maybe Frost or the boarcerer?
According to Herms' translation it does sound like Goku agrees to train Caulifla, at least for a bit. He seemed friendly to them before so I'm honestly not that surprised. I wonder if it might come with an informal ceasefire of sorts, like they won't bother each other or Goku's friends unless they're the last ones standing?
I'm surprised Kale got taken out by Jiren so quickly but it doesn't clarify if she's eliminated or not. Hit didn't eliminate Narirama either.
Also, poor Krillin! I can't imagine he'll be feeling greaf if he kills someone. It also raises my suspicions that any fallen fighters might be revived if that's the case.

What? That doesn't make ANY sense! After all the building Krillin had, he's going to be down first? Darn you Toei!
About Caulifla asking Goku to teach her to how go Blue, gosh how I would wish Goku suddenly got possessed by some evil spirit (because, f*** logic) laugh, grab her by the neck and proceed choking her until she black out.

If goku can teach them how to blue in an instant there is absolutely no reason he couldn't do that to gohan this arc..
Gohan didn't asked to learn.
Also Gohan didn't asked to learn to turn into Super Saiyan back in the Android arc

Perfect TFS material.
Could you stop saying that? TFS already confirmed they don't intend to abridge Super, probably only short clips.
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.
I expected for him to last longer, but, obviously, there is a special reason why he is eliminated, probably, as others said, he will kill someone with his hidden potential.lol I'm pleased he is out, because, Toei already wasted too much time with him. He sucks as a character.

Even this last ditch hoorah is probably Toeis way of making him relevant. While Akira did not see it that way. Cant wait for the manga to catch up.
lol whats with all the hate dude? Krillins an awesome character, much better than most burh bur super sayan god skkkkk 3000x

This is the first time I ever mentioned TFS in one of my comments.

Either Hit vs Vegeta II or he faces a top dog like Toppo or anyone from Universe 2?
He said Hitto is going to have a good fight? That's awesome! Hitto is going to crush Toppo i hope.

Yeah it says disqualified not eliminated so probably a kill.

Hell, in this instance, it's even worse because he chances of winning are far lower than they were in the Cell arc because he's fighting against many more people, some of which are bound to be as strong, if not much stronger, than he is. And he has a specific amount of time, which isn't that much, to work with.
As of this moment, the odds are not really stack against Goku since he took out an entire universe almost by himself.
There are still at least 59 other fighters after Universe 7. The odds are still heavily stacked against him.

I'm just slightly disappointed by looking at the preview, like Goku is gonna eleminate u9 by himself sounds lame,I just hope vegeta help Goku with this and krillin being the first to be eleminated,he better eleminate half of u10, like maybe 5 member and then kill someone by accident, that would be an epic way to send off krillin

In that case, he will kill someone. In the bottom, he leaves the tournament with his head high, but, it was quick.

Goku doesn't defeat U9 all by himself. It hints that in the previews as well that Vegeta will be assisting him as well.
As far as Krillin goes, he is far too weak to take out half of any Universes fighters. He's already at the bottom of the barrel in this tournament.
Well that was disappointing. For multiple reasons;
So Krillin was built up to fake out a sense of it being shocking when he's the first fighter out?
Not only that in doing so, we have a kind of crappy end to a genuinely decent character arc. Krillin gets his groove back and proves himself a tactical genius against Goku and Gohan to...get disqualified in the first few minutes by killing an opponent with his trademark move that never hits.
Krillin. The guy who Goku claims has better ki control than even himself. The guy who was entrusted to form a Spirit Bomb, the guy who was able to sense just how strong Perfect Cell was from being hit once and realised he had strength in spades...forgot that his Kienzan is a kill move?
And meanwhile Goku takes out all of Universe 9 without any help.
The idea of teamwork and being able to make use of weaker fighters with their skills to overcome tougher foes is deader than Gyum. And that actually saddens me more than the stuff with Krillin. Power is once again the only thing that matters; fuck tactics, special abilities and skills. It's all about power.
The recruitment episodes focus points really were a load of bullshit, huh?

1. Goku (Universe 7) has eliminated 6 competitor & Vegeta (Universe 7) has eliminated 6 competitors
I really, really hope Krillin will be disqualified for killing his opponent. That would be awesome but unfortunately I can't see Super having a gorey scene...
About Kale, I wonder if we will see her skinnier form. Though it doesn't seem like she will be knocked out of the ring.
In conclusion, I must say I'm very hyped about these next episodes!

Why do people keep saying Goku takes out Universe 9 by himself?
"Universe 7 lead by Goku wins against every member of Universe 9."
This doesn't say that Goku does it himself, and we already know from the NEP that Vegeta helps.

If power was all that mattered then Roshi would be going out first.
Why is it so hard for people to wait and see how things play out? Why do people have to make these kinds of comments off of a few sentences in a magazine that don't give full context?

Maybe one of the other universes cheated and blamed it on Krillin? There are some fighters masking their presence...
Why are people assuming Goku rings out U9 by himself? The NEP mentions him and Vegeta fighting and those previews are usually leaving stuff like that out. Let's not look at stuff so literally. Those are just blurbs giving us the gist of things.
