Seeing Goku and Freeza going up against Jiren will make for a very awesome ep. I'm already picturing them being side by side.
Zamasu is the best DB villain besides Freeza (and this is only the case because the current Super arc elevated Freeza to be that good).
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
There's always a chance that they learned from their mistakes from the last match. These guys thought they were the best of the best last time and they got humbled. I wouldn't be surprised if botamo makes his weakness less transparent and magetta fixed his insult issues. A lot of time has passed since that tournamentAraki wrote:I don't know if I'd like a scenario where Goku, Freeza and Jiren are the last men standing. I'd prefer if the last three, four or even five fighters are all from different universes, to add tension.
And i'm pretty sure Vegeta's knowledge of Botamo and Magetta's powers will be mentioned. As usual, people like to jump the gun when it comes to spoilers, like assuming they would "forget" that Future Trunks didn't know Goku was alive, and that wasn't what happened.

I'd be okay if they wished for all the participating universes to reside in the winning universe.GodKaio-Ken wrote:So correct me if I'm wrong...
In Z Goku tells Vegeta if he dies again while dead he will be erased and cant be wished back.
I'm hoping everything Zeno erases cant be wished back at tournaments end....for a bunch of different reasons.

It's whoever has the most people standing. If there are 3 people and 2 are from the same universe, they win. Not sure how they'd split the wish up, but they definitely said the more of your universe left the better your chances are of winning.

Yeah, whoever has the most players in the ring after the time limit is the winner, or if a single person is left in the ring then that player's universe wins even if there is time left.TheOne wrote:It's whoever has the most people standing. Then on what basis is universe 9 destroyed?SansrivaaL wrote: Yeah, whoever has the most players in the ring after the time limit is the winner, or if a single person is left in the ring then that player's universe wins even if there is time left.
Couldn't a scenario arise where nobody is left on the ring..
That should result in a tie or are they saying if that happens every universe gets a dick up their ass

Well, Think of it like this, universe 9 has no members left well and good..SansrivaaL wrote:All of em fell?Ki Breaker wrote:Then on what basis is universe 9 destroyed?SansrivaaL wrote: Yeah, whoever has the most players in the ring after the time limit is the winner, or if a single person is left in the ring then that player's universe wins even if there is time left.

It comes down to jiren vs Goku and golden freeza, and those muscle heads knock each other out of the ring, there is nobody left in the ring..
What happens in a situation like that? Shouldn't they have waited to see if such a situation arises before giving universe 9 a greasy one to lick at?
When that situation arises, if it's a tie between all the universes their child butts Should have waited to blow them all away, or they are trying to say if not a single guy is left on the ring, everyone loses

Oooooh now I get yah, if that does happen then theres 2 possible ways to fix it, 1 is to check who was last to fall, or if those 3 idiots fell at the same time then have em duke it out again for a redo (at least thats what happens in WWE far as I remember)Ki Breaker wrote:Well, Think of it like this, universe 9 has no members left well and good..SansrivaaL wrote:All of em fell?Ki Breaker wrote: Then on what basis is universe 9 destroyed?

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Universe 9 is destroyed because all their fighters lost and other universes are still fighting. If Goku and Jiren are the last two left and ring out simultaneously, that's only a tie between U7 and U11, not all universes. So there's 4th place, 3rd place, and tied for 1st place. I've never seen a medium where there was a tie for 1st place, which made all participants a tie for 1st place. Now, there could be a no two winner rule, meaning all 8 universes who participates get destroyed, but that has no bearing on what happens to the universes that already lost. Their fate's decided.Ki Breaker wrote:Then on what basis is universe 9 destroyed?SansrivaaL wrote: Yeah, whoever has the most players in the ring after the time limit is the winner, or if a single person is left in the ring then that player's universe wins even if there is time left.

There is however, another DB heroes card where Goku and Frieza face Hitto and Jiren. I would have agreed to this, if the rules didn't specifically said the number of warriors left after the match is over is going to decide the winner..TysonWine wrote:Universe 9 is destroyed because all their fighters lost and other universes are still fighting. And I say what if there is nobody left on the ring after 48 mins..
On what base they destroyed 9 when this situation is a real possibility until the end..
Also, SansrivaaL, got you man, those are acceptable solutions, specially the first one

You don't get erased until everyone in your universe is ringed out. U9 being eliminated before the final two universes doesn't matter since all their players are gone. It only matters when it comes down to the last two. Maybe three.Ki Breaker wrote:Well, Think of it like this, universe 9 has no members left well and good..SansrivaaL wrote:All of em fell?Ki Breaker wrote: Then on what basis is universe 9 destroyed?

I'm sure there is a protocol for if the situation you're referring to happens. We have a bunch of angels who could rewind time if that happens. Or best case scenario, both get to live since they're on equal footing.

This is not the best case scenario at all when everyone is supposed be given an equal chance at survival and they let us know clearly the winner universe will be decided after the whole thing is over..TheOne wrote:You don't get erased until everyone in your universe is ringed out. How is that not best scenario? If universe 7 and 11 get ringed out simultaneously, then 2 universes would get to survive and not one (assuming they go that route).

Lol Ki Breaker, you're still not getting it. There's no other way for it to make sense. The ONLY way there could be a tie between all universes is if every universe has the same amount of fighters left and they're all eliminated at exactly the same time. If there are two fighters left from two universes that ring out simultaneously, that's only a tie between the two universes that those two fighters belong to. All the other universes have already lost, so regardless of whether Zeno decides to let the top two universes live or die has no bearings on the fact that the other universes already lost, and therefore shall be destroyed.
