These CHARACTERS have not been confirmed: Videl, Trunks, Goten, etc.
These VOICE ACTORS have been confirmed: Yuki Minaguchi, Takeshi Kusao, Masako Nozawa, etc.
Masako Nozawa is the voice actress who usually voices Goku, Gohan, Bardock, and Goten. "Bardock's voice actress is confirmed in the film!"

Ngl, I would be thrilled if Future Trunks makes an appearance in the movie. I'm not getting my hopes up, because him showing up would be too much on top of Freeza reappearing.
I am curious though about the absence of Trunks and Goten (and to a minor degree Yamcha, Bulma and Chiaotzu). We're not even getting some actionfFusion shots of the both of them...

Not really..., no they don't. The similar look is just a coincidence. We knew Sobert and Tagome would be hunting for Dragon Balls prior to the trailer being release. Also, it's possible that the official Tagoma has clear nails (or no nails at all?), judging from the trailer.

Future Trunks went back in time in order to stop #17 and #18 and make sure Goku didn't die from the heart virus. Why he would return? It would feel unnecessary just to show up and be like "Hey guys. I'm back just to say hello and Freeza is back too!". It feel like lazy fan service throw into the story just to make fans happy. Maybe if they a movie where a evil threat from the deep future shows up and Trunks has to warn people about it then maybe Future Trunks can return.
Freeza's soliders are weaklings. Maybe the wish to revive Freeza and the disruption of the balance in the universe will cause the timelines/dimensions to collapse so in that case Trunks will have a legitimate reason to return to the main timeline.
