All that tells me is that there is a good reason for no multiverse tournament, which Zen-Oh nearly forgot about anyway. The Universe Level System and the idea of so many universe being pain were things came into existence sole because the to Omni-Kings met. 17 years in the future all the universe are still around so Future Zen-Oh clearly did not come up with the idea at this point in his time line on his own.

All that point to a simple fact: Had Goku not brought Future Zen-Oh back with him, none would have been destroyed. This IS all his fault.
That isn't true. The Grand Priest said that Zen'o mentioned often that they're too many universes. Nothing about this idea came after meeting Future Zen'o. And the Grand Priest also never said that the mortal level was created recently.

If Goku didn't remind Zen'o of the tournament, eight universes would have been eventually destroyed rather it's soon or a hundred years from now.
I don't understand this idea that Goku bringing Future Zeno is what caused the universal destruction or the tournament.

The tournament happens because Goku reminded Zeno about it
Who only thought up of the tournament because he was inspired by the tournament Champa and Beerus started
And before then Zeno was already planning to erase universes

As far as we know at this point, Future Zeno had little to no effect on the events that caused the tournament and it's rules to come to be.
I totally agree but him being there definitely doesn't work give a good case to keep the universes either. Especially because they've see first hand how troublesome mortals, Kaioshin, and even their lazy Gods of Destruction can be. Future Zenos timeline is a good case study on why they should destroy the universes.

I'm not saying Future Zeno couldn't have an effect, just that at his point we haven't seen anything to suggest that he's had any impact on the events that form the foundation of this arc at all. Makes me wonder if Toriyama had anything in mind when he made F!Zeno coming to the present a plot point. You know, other than the cool aspect of it.

This is true but it does take a much greater leap in logic to come to the conclusion they arent at this point.
Toyotarou posted some drawings of Vados, Kusu, Martine, and Marcarita and said they're sisters, so it's likely they're all siblings.
Exactly. Youd be jumping into his wife cheating on him or a previoys marriage territory lmao. I know there is no actual confirmed wife btw lol

For the looks of it, U10 is next to be deleted.

Krillin will defeat Gyum(which was why he was happy in the preview), then struggle vs Shouza.

Napapa got offscreened by Freeza, so thats another one down for U10.

The whole thing will be between U2,U11,U6 and U7, it would be cool if the ToP ends up in a draw, then we get a Rebellion arc.

SSB has always had energy expenditure. All the transformations have, the difference is that the cost of the SSB in the anime is smaller than the other transformations.

Though I think Goku mentions that Vegeta solved the issue. Unclear if Goku did.
Not really, Vegeta can't use SSB full time, he can just use the SSG and switch to SSB little instants. Goku has not solved the drain either. SSB has always drained a lot of stamina in the manga and it still does.
The problem with SSB in manga is that it can not be activated more than once. But he can be kept for a good time (Vegeta's first fight with Black). Only it is only used at maximum potential when activated for a few moments

Napapa the so called magical of the ring, becoming freeza's foot wipe..
Batman, committed suicide after a few seconds with freeza..

Freeza is what he should be, a person you do not ness with no matter what..
Only goku can overcome this fear because he is Goku, you don't mess with him either

You know if this whole thing ends with a final confrontation between Goku and the Grand Priest, I'm completely sold to this arc! Though I really doubt this is going to happen, the power scale is really fucked up, neither Goku or Vegeta had surpassed a God Of Destruction yet, let alone a Angel... So in basic terms the Grand Priest is leagues above everyone in the ToP, don't know how they could do it.

Best moment in the episode for me. It would probably have been more awesome for me if they did a Big Bang Kamehameha.
It was a nice scene, but how the F did the Trio De Dangers survived such combination attack? Plot armor ruins it, you can say Goku and Vegeta pulled their best move and yet hold back to not kill the wolves, lame.

There were subtle hints though, I hope Whis being evil all along plans out, holy shit that would be some twist!
It would be twist, but I fear for how Super will handle such thing. They nailed Freeza millionth return, would they also succeed in making a character part of the main plot for such a long time being evil? I don't know...

It's Whis, it's not that hard to believe. He is the epitome of 'no-shits-given'

But, it would be bland for him to just announce (with his usual behavior) that he was never invested to anyone in the Universe 7 and the whole Tournament Of Power was nothing but a Angel masquerade.

That wouldn't be bland, that would be pretty entertaining. A good twist of a character going evil should have them act the same, they shouldn't suddenly become a different character or it loses the essence of 'Oh god, this character is a bad guy!'. Plus, Whis would act more like this was common knowledge "Oh, didn't you know?"

I would like it if this arc becomes similar to Namek and Goku is able to surpass the Grand Priest in the end, though I don't think this will be the case and it would feel too random if Goku suddenly surpassed both Beerus and Whis in an instant.

Yeah if something like that does happen they'd have to be delicate with such a reveal.

If I'm honest I actually liking the idea of Angel's being split between good and evil & this arc somehow leads into an war between Angel's or something with our heroes caught between the cross fire, we've never had anything resembling a war arc before it would pretty unique and something different. Well I guess one could make the argument the Black arc kinda was but still.

Right now there is so much that can happen I just hope it leads to something interesting.

I'm not opposed to the idea of the Grand Priest being evil, but they gotta be careful in how they convey this. Please don't interrupt the tournament like the Chunin exams. I'd prefer they wait til the end and then reveal that the TOP was an angel plot to take control of the universe by using Zeno.

This definitely isn't the show for a war arc, especially some sort of long multiverse war arc. Granted, the previous saga was the darkest Super has yet seen, and it worked remarkably well, but this would mean going in territory Super hasn't gone yet and no one really expected.

Just thought that I'd point out that were coming up to Mid July.

It was Mid July 2012 when Battle of Gods was announced. It was Mid 2014 when Resurrection F was announced.

I remember last year hoping they'd announce another movie for this year but that never happened. I'm not expecting any movie but thought it was worth pointing out that it was around this time when it'd be most likely to be announced.

Don't we usually get some the titles for the next 4 weeks around the 10th? Or do we already know them all?

That is exactly what we need, if Super wants to establish itself as it's own series then it really needs to start pushing out the boundaries no more boring tried and tested stories, this arc and the Black arc it seems we are going in that direction and the next arc needs to solidify this it might not mean a War arc like I have been suggesting but just something new and unique to Dragon Ball. In 10 years time I wanna remember Super as a series in it's own right and not a half baked sequel.
