Going from weaker than Beerus to surpassing the Grand Priest in a span of an arc would be the biggest power jump in all of Dragon Ball. Even as a Goku fan, I would call BS.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

I wonder who Kale is going to knock out of the ring? We know that she will knock out other fighters, I guess she will knock out some fighters from U3, U4 and U7. I can see Roshi be getting knock out soon.

I still follow who gets credited with the script even though I've been told there's many hands in the pot when it comes to. Upcoming credits are:
99: Toshio
100: King Ryu
101: Yamaguchi
102: Tomioka

My guess is the yet-unnamed episode 102 probably has plot important stuff in it because Tomioka's writing it.
On hiatus.

I've seen some people already joking about how this would be the first arc where Kuririn kills instead of being killed.

Funnily enough, if the scatter Kamehameha killed those henchmen back in the ROF arc that's at least 7 kills.

If we count the 3 Saibamen and the one henchmen on Namek that makes 11. He's got more kills than Piccolo and he's the only Earthling warrior with confirmed kills IIRC.

Krillin's killed people? Refresh my memory, but who did he ever kill? The only thing I remember is him and Gohan knocking out two weak Freeza henchmen into the water after they landed on Namek. Vegeta killed every villain on Namek and Krillin never fought much after that.

Did you read the post above you? :?
Dragon Ball /Z/GT/Super is a children's show and there's nothing wrong with that.

Saibamen, and I'm pretty sure the Freeza soldiers were both killed. They never joined back up with Freeza's group (if they were alive they'd have went back to the ship), and if they survived those hits I doubt they survived falling into the water while unconscious.

Sorry if I already said this but Caulifla doesnt need to get her ass kicked after witnessing that Final Kamehameha, that should be enough to humble her.

It wouldnt be that bad if Caulifla gets the basics of Blue, its not like she will reach the same tier as 17, Toppo, etc.

The two henchmen that Kuririn and Gohan struck were killed, they either died on impact or drowned and we never see them again: 1 kills toward Kuririn.

I Don't know if you'd count Saibamen as people but there you go: 3 kills toward Kuririn.

I also don't see how the henchmen in the ROF arc could've survived that Scattershot:

We never see them again after that attack, no reason to assume those weaklings survived something like that: 8 kills toward Kuririn.

Best moment in the episode for me. It would probably have been more awesome for me if they did a Big Bang Kamehameha.
It was a nice scene, but how the F did the Trio De Dangers survived such combination attack? Plot armor ruins it, you can say Goku and Vegeta pulled their best move and yet hold back to not kill the wolves, lame.
It is not like it was a 10x Kaiouken Final Kamehame-Ha. But the scene definitely lacked Bergamo trying to defend his universe by absorbing the blast and then the Saiyajin using too much and blow them away.

...Did Toei forget he could do that? That really would've come in handy. I really wanted to see him grow large during the tourney.

Well, I can imagine some fans coming with their own made up explanations that he could not do it because he was doing the Danger Beam but there was enough time a) before that and b) while doing that do cancel out his own part of the beam and serve as meat shield. If they are so good together this power is definitely one to come in handy for some teamwork. And not to be defeated that easily when fought alone as before.

I THINK it was kind of implied it was something he was choosing not to do. Goku said that bergamo was showing him his own power instead of just using Gokus. If that's the case then it could make sense. It didn't work last time so he is trying something different. But that's pure speculation on my part.

Either way, It sucks we didn't get to see a rampaging giant in the ring. That would have been really cool. I would have liked to see everyone work together to bring down someone who is taking up more and more of the ring as time goes by.

Would be idiotic though to throw away this advantage in a battle for your life. With the only exception that he cannot use both his own and Goku's power but that would also be totally silly. Yes, Goku said Bergamo was just using Goku's power. But who cares? Goku is stronger anyway so it is not like that is really hiding much. They should have made him absorb the power and combine it. Or absorb the power of all of his 9 companions. Truth be told, if Bergamo is anything like Super 17 in GT then they could have done with him what Boo could have done with the rest of his own team. Or similiar.

Hey I'm with you. I wanted Bergamo to be one of the last fighters to go out because of his ability. Be one of the big contenders so not everybody in U9 is just weaker than everyone else. but I guess they wanted to make an example of one of the universes, and 9 drew the short straw.

Bergamo with power absorbed like hell (probably from LSSJ Kale as well) should have been taken out by a strong enough Hit with the explanation that the time frozen body cannot absorb power and therefore was not able to withstand the power, even with the power he already had. But of course they wanted to make this a personal thing with 7 and 9. Or well, with a Kaiouken Final Kamehame-Ha ... and just make it impossible for him to straight take all of it and be blown out. The possibilities for a battle the 9th universe could have been proud of are endless.

I mean, who's to say? We just saw a whole team and their universe get erased in the last episode, so hopefully not so many this time.

It's supposed to be a very Krillin-centric episode. In the preview, he's seen fighting some bird guy, and it's said that other Universe 7 members are fighting U4 guys, so maybe a few Universe 4 fighters?
Krillin's apparently gonna be disqualified very soon. I don't know if it'll be at the end of this episode, or they'll hold it off until 100.
I've got a question. Does anyone feel like this arc is going pull a DC Comics on us? Like, I don't know, reset something, or whatever?
