Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Toshio only stinkers were the Beerus vs Oolong RPS episode and the Poachers one(I think he did write that episode).
Krillin was seen celebrating in the PV, so thats when the supposed funny moment already happened?
I think Roshi will also defeat a U10 member(he was seen firing off another kamehameha in the PV).

Toshio's somewhere in the middle for me. I can't fully rank the writers because one of them has only written one episode so far (Yamaguchi) and another one vanished (Koyama Jr.) a while back.
I at least expect the fight to be good. Toshio usually gets put on battle episodes.

Yoshifumi Fukushima is the the worst writer imo, btw he did write episode 98 so that could explain some of the questionable PLs stuff that happened.(He also wrote the Dojo episode which had Roshi overpower Tenshinhan).
Tomioka is easily the best writer DBS has.

Tomioka is good at moving the plot along, but his character interactions are usually boring, imo.
King Ryu does the best character writing, imo.

What i'm most excited about is the possible fight between Frost and 18. The spoilers didn't say anything about Frost, so i'm interested to see what he will do in the next episode. When I was a kid, I always wanted to see a fight between one of the androids and Freeza. Now we have one of the androids vs a Freeza from another universe. I'm also very excited to know what will cause Krillin to get... well, you know it already. Since the episode will have a little comedy in it, I fear it will be something silly and stupid.
Gowasu's number 1 fan.

Nah I think he'll get something in Top given his ties with vegeta so I think he'll do fine along with frostomaro34 wrote:Nah, Cabba is an afterthought at this point.perucho1990 wrote:Cabba needs a good moment asap because all he has done is lose and become the saiyan girls buttmonkey.
The ToP will mostly be focused on U6,U7 and U11. Champa has been gotten the most of screen time after Beerus out of all Hakaishins.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Also there's 68 fighters left as of now assuming more of them don't get tossed off until next episode so hopefully there taking there time with it.

Roshi didn't really overpower him. It was confirmed back in the episode with Korin that it was a technique that would most likely stop any foe in their tracks regardless of strength.perucho1990 wrote:Yoshifumi Fukushima is the the worst writer imo, btw he did write episode 98 so that could explain some of the questionable PLs stuff that happened.(He also wrote the Dojo episode which had Roshi overpower Tenshinhan).

Zamasu is the best DB villain besides Freeza (and this is only the case because the current Super arc elevated Freeza to be that good).

I doubt the other Pride Troopers will be on Toppo's level either. Dyspo certainly didn't seem to be in his introduction episode.TheOne wrote: Toppo is their number Two. Unless the rest are very close to Toppo in strength (not likely) then it's not going to be as overwhelming as these spoilers make it out to be. Goku Vegeta and Frieza (maybe Gohan) will be able to hold their own individually against the pride troopers. It all depends on how strong their weak links are. U7 is already at a disadvantage since Krillin gets disqualified next week. But I do have a feeling their weakest fighters are much stronger than our weakest ones.
Jiren is the real spoiler here. If he's as strong as they keep hinting, then he'd probably be able to stomp the rest of U7 by himself. If he's not, then he still has the advantage but a team effort from Goku/Vegeta/Frieza/Hit level fighters should be able to at least put the pressure on him.

I wonder why didnt Roshi use it on that group of fighters instead of having Tenshinhan use Taiyoken.Nero<>Akira wrote:

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Same reason why Piccolo and Tenshinhan aren't spamming Mafubas continually to seal as many of their opponents away as possible before tossing them over the side of the stadium -- or why the group hasn't just used Piccolo's magic to create some distance from the carnage and have Krillin destroy the whole ring with his Kienzan. Such manouvres wouldn't make a sensational spectacle for the viewers. Why be practical when you can have on-the-ropes fisticuffs and shiny energy blast excitement?perucho1990 wrote:I wonder why didnt Roshi use it on that group of fighters instead of having Tenshinhan use Taiyoken.Nero<>Akira wrote:

It just dawned on me that we should be getting a lot of juicy info next week. Jump preview of 101 and the new issue of V-Jump, plus the 101 NEP that Saturday night.
I wonder if we'll get the 102 title/description soon?

I look forward to the Pride Troopers episode preview, to get confirmation if Jiren eliminated Kale or not.

I don't care for Mentor Gokû, but I still want to see Planet Salad. It'd be nice if Caulifla gets them there. I like Caulifla, but I'm still not big on Kale; she's too gimmicky to me.
I don't like ssjblue, so I don't particularly have investment in who gets it.
Toppo's more entertaining than Jiren, but if Jiren's the one to knock Kale out of the ring that's fine; I'm equally indifferent to both of them.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Manga chapter is irrelevant since it's still in the Black arc, at this point I'm completely over the Black arc so I couldn't care less about that. I'm not enjoying the Manga anymore so it's a waste of my time to read and then discuss it and I don't wanna waste other peoples time who are interested in the Manga by ragging on it.BlueBasilisk wrote:Awesome.perucho1990 wrote:We should get next episode preview soon(maybe tomorrow), because WSJ already got leaked....
I look forward to the Pride Troopers episode preview, to get confirmation if Jiren eliminated Kale or not.I'm both eager for and dreading episode 100. Eager because it's a Kale/Caulifla focus episode and has Mentor Goku. Dreading because I just know any explanation he gives for achieving SSB is gonna stir up a shitstorm, and it's coming right on the heels of a new manga chapter so there's going to be that fighting on top of everything else.
No matter what happens people will always stir controversy it's been happening the last two years and I'm fed up, last week after the leaks this place was such a shitstorm it was unbelievable it's wasn't Kanzenshuu it was like I logged into Facebook! I am just gonna avoid this sub forum with the exception of the dub and animation thread as soon as any news or episodes airs. It's sad I wanna discuss Super but it's just not fulfilling to do so here.

Your ability to not care about stuff like this is commendable..Chuquita wrote: I don't like ssjblue, so I don't particularly have investment in who gets it.
But are you sure SSB outta nowhere in few short minutes is a good way for the story to go?
No matter how they try to handle it, if it happens it's not gonna be pretty
