Well right now they're saving the Leaf Village from Pain, but yeah that sounds about right

At least there are still other bad guys around. I'd heard about loads of major bad guys being killed/kicking the bucket. I know Orochimaru was killed...and a lot of those red dawn guys (except for Pain apparently) were killed. Heard quite a few good guys died too. Infact all the news I end up hearing round-a-bout related to Naruto is that lots of characters are dying. o_O;;; Or in Hinata's case, almost-dying.

To answer your question no Hinata is not dead which sucks because they way everything went down she essentially should have been killed by Pein/Pain. Yes, Akatsuki members have been dropping like flies and Kakashi, Jiraiya and Shizune are all confirmed dead. Concerning the image of Chris Pine, I see what you mean.

Thanks for the spoilers, guys. When I open a thread that is about the live-action DB movie, I don't expect to see Naruto spoilers of all things.

Why are you putting quote marks around Goku? Thats the characters name. Thats the only name the imposter in the movie has.

As for your other point, no you cant just arbitarially change aspects of a characters personality and have it be the same character. If Piccolo was treated as a skirt chasing horn dog, thats not Piccolo. Thats some incredibly shitty writing. Even if it was the creator doing a reboot. But thats not even the case here. This was some hacks chaning a character hey had no hand in creating. Its still incredibly shitty writing.

I think the first 20 Chapters would make a decent first movie (in a series of 5 or 6 movies).

How is it “dumb shit”? The characters name in the series real name is "Kakarrot" and plus I have sentimental reasons for doing so that coincide with my dead father.
