It's a drawing lesson type of book, but the Toriyama portion (it's two different mangaka each doing half the total book) is done more in story-style between Toribot and Hetappi. When Toribot goes to play an educational tape regarding how to write, the porno starts playing by mistake. Educational indeed!

It's been a while, but I think that's about as ecchi as it got.

Well, honestly, besides the specials, it`s still very good, even with Brolly. The specials are not as good, but they entertain. The main fault of the specials is the fact that they, so far, have focused on Brolly, making the Brolly focus on entire DBM rise immensely and making it go overboard.

Honestly, if the special didn't have the structure of a damn storyboard for a film, I'd think it'd be more fun to read, even if the story is a little lousy. Granted, it's very common for manga to be planned and done this way. Considering this webcomic is based on a manga, it's no surprise that they would do it in the same fashion as Toriyama did.

The problem is that this isn't some weekly or monthly serial, it's just a series with an update of one page on specific days. Because of this and the way it's organized, the comic becomes boring. No one wants to see some big fat panel wasting half of the page just to show one minor detail, readers need some story progression too, something significant. I don't care about Gohan stating the obvious when Broly powers up. I don't care about seeing Goten and Trunks being taken out of the water. I don't care for half of a page being dedicated to Gohan being shocked into transforming again. These things are unnecessary to the plot and offer nothing to keep readers' interests other than to waste space.

At least the main story's pacing doesn't suffer as much.

Agreed I love the main story more. I want Bra dammit! But this special isnt as bad as everyone says, IMO. Gohan is pretty epic, first with that gutpunch then SSJ2. Why don't you care about Trunks and Goten being rescued? It means 18 can join the fight now with no out-of-nowhere aspect. So what if they devoted half the page to Gohan SSJ2? It's a dramatic moment. It's like Toriyama when he devotes a full page to a new powerup. It seems everyone here is hating, just because its Broly. Well its not recognisably Broly anymore. He talks in this special.

On a side note, will gohan get his ass kicked then piccolo finally arrives?
