Why are you wasting your time with Super? You should watch/read OG DB ASAP dude.

Dude doesnt know he skipped a gem, tho I dont think he would enjoy it, he's grown a huge hate for Goku.

I think his lack of seeing DB explains the hate. I wasn't a big Goku fan myself until I watched DB. Nozawa kills it as kid Goku. He's a hilariously endearing prick, moooostly out of ignorance, but not entirely. His humble interactions with the world around him, and it's reaction to him, is true comedy gold.

Seriously, Dragonballgod19, my dude. Watch all of DB subbed. I really doubt you'll have it in you to dislike Goku after that. And that's all beside the fact that it's literally the first chunk of the story, and gives actual weight to pretty much everything in the Saiyan arc.

I agree, Dragonballgod19 is missing out on a whole lot if you don't watch the original Dragonball. I actually like it better than Z let alone Super.

Yes, that is exactly what I do not understand as well. Isn't it natural for people to avoid things they dislike? Let alone waste even more of their time discussing it. We are 100 eps in now if people are still watching then they clearly like and enjoy the show regardless of what they say, simple, you don't invest 2 years in a show you "dislike".

I saw a youtuber explain it one time, I fully disagree but I just want to make you aware of the mentality.
They all have this "True Fan" delusion. Where they say they have to "stick through the good times, and the shit times".
They openly admit to being complete slaves who will eat anything up with dragon ball on the label because they're "True Fans."
Everytime I tell someone to drop the show (outside kanzenshuu) they bring up this "True Fan" nonsense.

I can understand people not liking that scene, but it baffles me that people complain about "back tingles" .

That never bothered me, I guess it's because I never oversimplify the explanation to "back tingles". The explanation was obviously there.

what they do to just flick it on and off like they do.

Goku is teaming up with people near him when he needs to, when Vegeta jumped in he teamed up with him. The circumstances of the Pride Troopers attacking probably causes an "enemy of my enemy" situation where the U6 Saiyans are right there with Goku so they team up for a bit.

Yeah the back tingles isn't the issue for most, its just that Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta are prodigies as well, and they had to go through an incredible amount of fighting, training, dying, etc, to achieve what they currently have. Goku didn't first transform until he was a fully grown adult. To see Caulifla do it so easily should bother people, it diminishes the earlier arcs to an extent.

Now if she attains the blue form during the tournament then I think there will be a nearly unanimous negative reaction.

Goten and Trunks already got the form with no effort, Caulifla didn't hurt anything.

Maybe the terrible thing happening will be that U6 gets erased. If Goku bonds with the U6 Saiyans he won't be very happy to see them getting erased.

You can bond in 40 or so minutes? I think bonding takes more time than that. But since he agreed to fight alongside them you're probably right.

Bonding in battle or hardship regardless of time always produce the strongest bonds.

The point of the scene is to show how much of a prodigy Caulifla is, not how easy Super Saiyan is to achieve. Cabba says that he's able to turn Super Saiyan on by focusing his energy in a specific way in his back and it creates a tingling feeling and even says that it's not something you can teach because it's a foreign sensation that you have to feel first, but then Caulifla does it anyways.

No all that was diminished the moment the post-Freeza arc happened when Trunks showed up, this fabled SS transformation became a Saiyans plaything to the point Gohan a kid could get it and then him and Goku were using that form as their base!. And then Goten and Trunks had it like that, no explanation was ever given and it was brushed away so easily.

Goku was the only one who had any sort of hardship and difficultly to finally attain SS, he exhausted all his power against Freeza and his best friend being murdered was what finally ticked him, Vegeta Gohan etc none of these even come close. Vegeta just randomly getting SS despite it just being established in the Freeza arc why he couldn't is still the worst.

I haven't been keeping up with official announcements for a while, but I just wanted to announce -- here and now, after 99 episodes -- that I'm threatening to QUIT! watching Super right now!!

I can spend that twenty minutes, once a week, doing breathing exercises and the like.

Seriously though, I've been quite bored as well with Super in general from the start (Super is a one and done for me, most likely), but I'll keep up with it 'til the end and try to post about positive things that may happen in an episode, with the likely-hood of knowing nonsensical things will happen. I watch it primarily because it's the "last hurrah!" from the OG cast/staff/author, and that's been my motivation since the beginning (though, it took a while for me to finally keep up with it consistently).

I knew from the onset that some of my fighters would be beaten earlier then others, thats always a risk with staggered power level match ups. I'm actually just happy to finally see them fight and against a powerful foe to. Besides it aint over till its over and even if they all lose at last I didn't lose my entire team in one fell swoop like U9 did

I agree, but they have the privilege to say they're not enjoying the show. What boggles my mind is they keep saying the exact same thing over, and over, and over, again.

I have no problem with them expressing their dissatisfaction with the show because it does do a lot of things wrong. As you said, the problem is the repetition.

I see the same type of conversations every week. People repeating that they don't like Super and they're going to drop it after every episode description. There's no need to keep flogging a dead horse. Either drop it or don't.

I feel that a lot of people just ride the hate train because it's popular to do so.
If you truly do not like something, you would pay it dust with no hesitation.

You're neglecting 3 important things though.

1) It's been stated that universe 6 Saiyan's have evolved differently than universe 7's Saiyan's. How anyone could compare the two after hearing that is ridiculous.

2) The universe 6 Saiyan's are far stronger than Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan were. They already had the power of a Super Saiyan. They simply didn't know about the transformations.
Gotenks, for example, was able to transform into ssj3 simply because he was strong enough to do so. He didn't train to do that.

3) Goten & Trunks going Ssj effortlessly should have shut down any complaints about Caulifla and co.

Caulifla transforming doesn't diminish anything.

Its a normal response to negative feedbacks that I see almost everywhere, everytime I read someone say that my head tends to shake. Just because some of us find the development of the arc boring doesnt mean we hate it or it stresses us out, I find it boring but I still like the show (wonder if that makes sense) but I can understand where they're coming from, its quite tiring reading the same complain about it being boring over and over again, some people doesnt take negative feedbacks that well when it comes to stuffs they like.
