Is there any chance for a new Dragon Ball game to be reviled in E3?

No, E3 is for reveals of games people actually care about.

It's not quite a clone but a mix of 64, DC, GC and Xbox all together. I was impressed because the original Wii was 'meh' to me, so this was effin awesome news.

I'm talking about something new, not this.

We'll have to wait and see, today's the big day of revelations on E3.

Though, I don't think Namco Bandai would announce a Dragon Ball game on E3, but it'd be awesome. :)

I'm not seeing anything more than a 360 here.

I'm also really unsure of why you're excited about Wii U. Given every report we've heard points to this thing being closer to the PS3, and 360 in power than what those platform's successors will be then you're just buying yourself another Wii. In 2 years no third parties will make games for this because the hardware's not advanced enough to run modern middleware, or easily able to port content from PS4, Kinexbox, or PC.

If it's really just the fact that there's a normal looking controller, let me introduce these to you:

Image

Heck, each Dragon Ball game on Wii supported the use of those controllers.

No, Namco Bandai has never announced a Dragon Ball game at E3.

There wasn't any Dragon Ball Z For Kinect at E3 Xbox 2012, though, another Kinect game appeared with some DB-ish stuff:

I do wish the rest of the game was this cool but it looked really crappy. :?

Namco Bandai's E3 Stream

They showed the old DBZ for Kinect trailer with the correct Saiyan pronunciation.

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

A demo on the marketplace, oh.. Still, thanks for the update, I'll check it out.

About the other 2 DB games this year was it only a rumour?

The interview is starting right now.

Edit: This interview was pretty pointless... 54 playable characters confirmed.

Aaaaaaaaand it's over :P. Totally canned Q&A with nothing interesting. Over 50 characters, totally immerse yourself in the universe with the special moves, and Nakajima's favorite character is Kuririn. The end. :(

That bigass poster/board of Dragon Ball For Kinect with Goku, Gohan and Goten looks pretty cool I wonder if they threw it away after everything was over.

I got hands on with this and pictures of the full booth and such. I also took about 6 minutes of two matches with my camera. They were pushing it pretty hard; it was one of the biggest displays in the Namco booth. They even had this girl dressed as a sort of Goku-maid girl who was absolutely adorable.

As promised, I got a hands on with this, so here's a bunch of pictures of the booth!

Image
They had two tvs set up with two staffers explaining how to play the game.

Image
The display was really huge and tall.

Image
It was hard to get good shots, because the cloth banner was translucent... but I did my best.

Image
This is a better shot of the cloth banner keyart they had on display for the game. This is the smaller one sitting directly behind where the players stood.

Image
In case you wanted to know what was on the reverse side of DBZ Kinect... this is a thing!

Image
They also had this absolutely adorable Goku-Maid-Girl there to promote the game. She was playing the game, too, for a while.

I have about 7 minutes of gameplay on my camera, so I'll try to post a video when I have a chance. The game itself was fun, but it's also about what you expect; A lot of flailing motions and trying to do what is at the righthand of the screen. I don't know if the guy demoing it just didn't explain it correctly or what, but I think you pretty much had to just follow the prompts.
