Yeah those games didn't have the Majin Boo arc don't have it but I really couldn't careless as I've played that damn arc too many times and would prefer for the dev to focus on a new story and primarily, make the best of the gameplay for the game.

It might be a fun game but not worth the full price, probably.

Agreed, I'm always a bit anxious when a new game comes out because I love so much of the Boo arc elements in games and I'd be majorly let down if they were missing entirely... this update is worth it for me.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Fair point, but this is 2014 and we're not transitioning from the PS2 to the PS3 anymore. Hell, even in recent handheld history, the only Z games that didn't have it was Attack of the Saiyans (and Shin Budokai 1, technically.)

You really should start checking the forums before posting. This is the third or fourth time you've posted news that is already known and is being discussed.

It's just a picture so you might as well post it itself, who needs a video for a picture that's just weird unless they're going to have a commentary with it.

P.S.: The casuals are on YouTube and other communities.

Silkman3003 wrote:holy crap, nice! what magazine is that from?EDIT: Also, do you think those new character models hint more towards dimps, or spike? or is it still too hard to tell, in your view?
I cant see anything different from the overwhelming similarity to Battle of Z from the lighting and shading style. Everything looks so dark and gritty as BoZ did. Though the models look like Spike, especially with SSJ3 Goku's square jaw. Looks a lot like Spike's. But Buu's pants lack the thick outlines from Dimps/Artdink's models, the cleaner look on the clothes looks more like RB. Then theres the way the faces are, SSJGoku looks like he has a large mouth, a lot like RB's animations.Goku in the scan here looks like s touched up Ultimate Blast Goku, where as the website Goku (the superior render) looks almost exactly like the Burst limit one.
cesarcoronel07 wrote:At least we know Saiyan arc to Buu arc is included. Since they revealed this so early, I hope Dragon Ball, movies, and Gt characters are included as well. I definitely would love to play as SSJ 4 Goku Vs. SSJ God Goku or vice versa!
I actually want GT to remain in the games, I see no reason for them to be excluded just for BoG. They dont have to be connected in the story, GT would just be in the special saga and Beerus would be After Kid Buu.

BT's intros had some ungly models, that art direction...
BT and RB's opening probably had the ugliest models to date, ironically for an opening.

i'm not sure, Goku on the website is very "dimps-like"
Yea but look at the Goku vs Vegeta picture, that does not look like Dimps. Ill just wait till the trailer....
Vegeta's head size and larger shoulder pads look weird, must be spike.
Rukura wrote:This feels like THE slowest info drizzle ever. Seriously. This week's breakthrough is a single image, so small that we can't clearly analyze the models or graphics, showing something nobody should be geniunly surprised by, at this point. Along with the same 3 ones we've gotten 3 times already. No title, no developer listed, no taser trailer, no trailer. I mean, for Dende's sake, is this supposed to create hype and positive expectations? Because I'm getting dread with a bit of morbid curiosity, from how much they don't want to even show it.
Namco's marketing strategy has been this way since Ultimate Blast's announcement and even worse with BoZ. I still dont even remember what that "Plan to take over the world" thing was even about, nothing about that was remotely reflected in BoZ.
Zephyr wrote:The fandom's collective fetishizing of "moments" is also ridiculous to me. No, not everyone needs a fucking "shine" moment. If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

That's what I said, casuals take their info from Youtube (in this case).

Someone from facebook said a website (Eurogamer.pt) said they have reserved a seat for a 30 minute presentation on Dragonball New project. I would take it with a grain of salt :D
Here's what he said:
"Hey guys, I dont know if you know yet but a Portuguese website made a top 10 wishlist for games they want to see in E3 and they talked about DBZ new game and said this:"Ainda não sabemos praticamente nada deste novo jogo, mas será um dos jogos que a Bandai Namco mostrará na E3 2014 e já temos lugar marcado na apresentação de 30 minutos agendada."WHICH translated it says We still dont know almost anything about the game but it will be revealed at E3, and we have our seat reserved for a 30 minute presentation about the game.See Translation"

I still doubt we will see anything at E3. So don't get your hopes up yet.

Like the "give us 100k likes for an amazing announcement" I was pretty disappointed with the outcome of it.

The only thing that'd make me interested in this game is if they revealed the devs of it were Dimps, then we'd know we'd be getting a quality game.

Yeah, a reporter from Eurogamer Portugal did state that they have a 30-minute appointment with Bandai Namco regarding the new Dragon Ball game at E3:
http://www.eurogamer.pt/articles/2014-0 ... na-e3-2014
A esperança é a última a morrer!

(He's not very optimistic about new Dragon Ball games in general, stating that they're likely to disappoint)
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Well that's good news I guess. I wonder if there's going to footage or is this just an on the side article based interview. Either way this gives me something else to look forward too for this years E3 (besides MK).. Now I just pray for a new Bloody Roar announcement and I'll be set.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.
