Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 66
I just have a question, why does Dragon Ball super has much less blood than One Piece? Both are diffused in the morning right?

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 66
That's what they are going for these days. Almost anything db has very little blood.

One Piece is an older show and gets away with a lot because of grandfather clause. Even then, One Piece is notable less bloody than it was a couple years ago, especially compared to the manga.

Dragon Ball Super is likely made with international broadcasts in mind so they put very little blood in so international partners don't have to waste bunch of time censoring the blood.BakaManiaHD wrote:I just have a question, why does Dragon Ball super has much less blood than One Piece? From episode 68. Not distinct enough to give me an idea on who it is.

It's totally on model though, that's for sure. Looks like they're summoning Shenron.
EDIT: Not entirely animation related, but probably relevant. Tomioka Atsuhiro is NOT in charge of the Pokemon Sun and Moon anime's composition. This further lends credence to the idea that he is the series composer for Super now. Still have my fingers crossed that for the purpose of improving things he and King Ryu will be swapping on and off each arc, so Tomioka would spend much of the next 4 or so months planing out (and hopefully writing) the arc after the upcoming arc.

Those ears... Almost definitely a Tsuji correction. Otherwise, yeah, nothing that would tell us who it could be.

The series composer is responsible for determining the overall plot of the series. The series composer writes an overview of the plot which is broken into episodes and he assigns scenario writers to write scripts for each episode.emperior wrote: What does the serie composer do?

Kind of reminds me of Yukihiro Kitano's first episode

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 66
The decision for Tomioka Atsuhiro to not be the series composer for Sun & Moon would have been made nearly a year ago, likely before he joined Dragon Ball Super. This is to say nothing of the fact that Tomioka can hold the series composition role for two or three series at a time.ArchedThunder wrote:It's totally on model though, that's for sure. Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 66
Tomioka Atsuhiro can write scripts for both Sun and Moon and Super. He is extremely fast. A Tomioka-Asada-Iwane combo episode is bound to happen in Sun and Moon sometime. I'll be disappointed if it doesn't happen. These 3 single-handedly turned Pokemon from a terrible anime to an outstanding anime.
On a side note, Sun and Moon looks fucking fantastic, I can't wait to watch it.

So it's up to them (and Toriyama obviously) to avoid plotholes and power levels inconsistencies?Saikyo no Senshi wrote:The series composer is responsible for determining the overall plot of the series. There hasn't been one I don't think. Mr. Ryu was supposed to be it for the U6 arc but then that slowly got retconed out to the point I think his blog page where he announced it got removed entirely.emperior wrote:So it's up to them (and Toriyama obviously) to avoid plotholes and power levels inconsistencies?Saikyo no Senshi wrote:The series composer is responsible for determining the overall plot of the series. Anyway, as much as I'd love to write reams about how fantastic Sun & Moon is, this is a Dragon Ball forum.
