I think it's Vegeta (probably regular Vegeta) because of the blue aura. He's usually portrayed with a purple or blue outline in his aura, as opposed to Goku's white.

I doubted it too, but then it appeared in the second trailer, which didn't happen with BoG

It would suck even more if Goku defeats him cause he already did on Namek but thankfully Toriyama knows how to changes things up so I doubt it will happen again.

Vegeta wasn't the only villain to become good.

Piccolo, Androids 16, 17 & 18, Majin Buu & Kid Buu if you count Uub, Abo & Cado, and maybe even Beerus?

Almost every villain was also just doing their job, whether it's taking orders from someone else or they were created to destroy like the Androids.

Only Piccolo, android 16 and 18 have become good guys by their own will. Majin buu only is good if they are friends with Mr Satan. Freeza won't be a good guy Namek saga is prove, he would rather use every inch of his strength to get rid of this Saiyan monkeys. The movie is not long enough for other villains to be introduced

The actual run time has not even been revealed yet so you can't place a judgement based on that.

Freeza becoming a good guy sounds like a awful idea and everyone would hate it. Freeza is the most iconic villain in Dragon Ball and having him become good would be awful. It would be like The Joker becoming good or Jason Voorhees becoming good, or having a Predator become good to help out a human....oh wait never mind . You get the idea. Freeza should stay evil in my opinion.

I just got done with a re-watch/re-read of the Freeza arc, and I have to say, the thought of Vegeta possibly getting his chance to kill Freeza in this movie terrifies me a bit. I think it would be a great disservice to a character who was already mishandled quite a bit in later parts of the story. Vegeta losing to Freeza was one of the best character moments in the series. Out of all the pointless transformations and power-ups during that battle, Vegeta's was the only one that really had any weight. The fact that his didn't amount to anything, unlike all the others, which were just there for cheap drama, was an integral part of the story. Everything he had been working for had been for nothing. All of the scheming and cheating of death he'd managed to accomplish all throughout the arc had brought him to this moment... where he could do nothing but fail, and he finally had to face his own inadequacies for the first time. To borrow from Star Trek, it was Vegeta's Kobayashi Maru. And in the end, in his last moments, he was forced to swallow his pride and insist that someone he hated pick up his torch instead. What an amazing, powerful moment. And while a lot of what comes after tends to undo that development, I think it would substantially cheapen all of that to have Vegeta now get to smack Freeza around. And all for the sake of fanservice. For the sake of Vegeta getting to do something "cool."

It's not nearly as persistent as those fake "evil Gokû" rumors they're still spreading around twitter. @_@
I don't think we'll be rid of those until the final trailers are out.

Edit: part of me wonders if that's his ssjg aura or not (it was aqua before it was yellow).

That's what this movie needs; rehashes . We already had Vegeta as a bad guy three times (Once in the Sayain Saga, again as Majin Vegeta and again as Bebi Vegeta).
