A terrible character being overpowered for no good narrative reason is a good way to make people angry.

This episode had me dead on the floor especially with the constant reciting of "SSSSOOOONNNNN GGGOOOOKKKKKUUUU!!" gave me Broli and Zamasu flashbacks at the same time. I'm surprised that Napapa is still on the stage though and I kinda felt bad for Kale at that moment when she got ganged up on.

About the NEP, that close up to Belmod's face looks pretty fucking sinister in the NEP.

It's not contradicting anything. We had no idea just how strong LSSJ Kale was. It's all fair game. :P
No it's not fair game, it's shit writing catering to the lowest common denominator.

Hey, don't drag him into this. They (shockingly) never made any kind of reference to Broly once in the episode.
There were so many references to him aside from name. XD
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Not really. If my theory is right, and this is pretty good evidnce for it, the Original/Legendary/Berserker and the First Super Saiyan God battled on Salada many years ago.

During that battle the fate of each universes saiyans changed. In U7 the LSS won but destroyed the planet forceing the evil faction to move to Plant/Vegeta. In U6 the SSG won and the good saiyans built their utopia.

If thats right then its only logical for the in-universe LSS to be very strong.

Also this episode pretty much confirms Kale would slaughter Broly.

As long as Super doesn't drop Broly's name, it's all good. :D

This is the first time DB Supers power scaling truly pissed me off. What the actual fuck ?

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

How? If Goku could beat 95% of the enemies with one punch then that's another consequence of non-sensical power scaling and bad planning and storytelling, not the cause.
How is the fandom wrong when we demand logic?

most of the time, power levels actually don't matter. I'm not measuring it by numbers or anything. In fact, most times people say the power scaling is messed up in Super.. it actually isn't. This form though that Kale just happens to have overpowering a kamehameha with no scratches though? Ridiculous. A form in which a blast was tanked by a SSJ2 Caulifla some episodes back? No. just no. there's a fine line with this. Even if the form has that LSSJ thing where she keeps getting stronger.. she hasn't even been in the form since that episode for her to constantly be powering up nor long enough in the tournament to do so and at that rate.
Zamasu is the best DB villain besides Freeza (and this is only the case because the current Super arc elevated Freeza to be that good).

You know those Androids that were way stronger than Freeza even though Dr Gero had no idea what happened on Namek...

Are you saying that doesn't get criticized?

Because it does. All the time.

Come on people calm the heck down, Goku said he was just gonna release a little bit of ki, he never said he was going full out with that wave, from the way he said it he was being careful with the amount of ki he'll put.
At least this is whats keeping me from raging

Oh I love this so much. The fandom is going into meltdown and I'm just laughing because you think they care about the powerscale or ever did.

I'm just glad Caulifla didn't go blue, anything would have been preferable than that and I got it.

It's one of the main points from the people who dislike the Android arc and/or think the series should have ended at Freeza.

It's one of the things people point out the most about the Cell arc.

You mean the Androids that were made from technology? Or maybe it was something else. Whatever inconsistency you can elicit from it, this is much worse.

Why TOEI completely devalues Blue?

Why does not it give due value to the transformation as at certain moments?

At least in the manga, it is an extremely powerful transformation. It seems that TOEi simply does not think about it. Now let's face Hate about this transformation, which is going to be called '' weak '' by a lot of people

Yep, another controversial episode between the fandom eh? That's unfortunate.

Anyways, Vegeta literally warned Goku in the episode saying that Kale might have/be the original/true Super Saiyan form. There's something to think about if you're angry about power-levels.

Kale HAS the power of the true and original SSJ, why the hell wouldn't she stand a chance to Goku? Just because he's in God form? Kale is the ultimate SSJ, especially knowing that she can't even control all her power. Why can't you guys understand that?
