The best thing of Kale being Blue level is that it confirmed Brianne will be Blue level as well and maybe stronger.

We also saw him got out of it and delivered a kick like it was nothing, if it were that major they woulda showed at least Goku shouting or even mention that it hurts or add a stop scene where Goku tries to catch his breath or better yet, go full on Hulk V Loki and went with what happened there, Goku not moving at all after the assault, woulda saved animation, but they didnt.
Its because as of now nothing major has happened to him, we're still at taking out fodder levels stage.
Anyways the point I'm trying to make is Kale is not at SSJB levels let alone above it, if she was she woulda killed him.

Alrighty!
Goku couldn't have been going 100℅ there or he would have killed her..
He did let our more of his power, his own words, but he didn't say his 100℅ power either..
Not to mention he came out unharmed and straight up went for jiren without any plan whatsoever in place..
Kale is strong, stonger than SS2 but definitely don't see her anywhere near blue level..
Personally my guess on why he didn't take SS3 on is because his stamina issues will actually matter in this tournament, unlike his sparring with trunks

Imo it kinda helps to proof the point the person wants to prove about something.

Like for example of stuff people overlooked like Super like Freeza having the potential in mastering Golden form, the 28 planets discussion, Black having countless of zenkais, Kale being Blue level etc. (I understand your point, though)

Anyways, I was going to mention that Kale tanking the kamehameha isnt that bad as some people think it is.

1. Because Goku didnt put 100% effort to it like vs Toppo, Hit or Merged Zamasu.

2. Goku mentioned that he only let out more power, he never said anything about going all out.

3. Kale showed signs of fatigue.

Only Goku said that Kale had amazing power, Vegeta called her a monster, even Toppo mentioned her yells were strong.

Goku should be able to read U6 powerlevels, he didnt sweat or shake in fear because Kale isnt that strong.

If Goku's able to fight Jerin then he was most likely holding back on her. You have to remember that he saw her before she transformed so he knew she was just a poor girl out of control.

Anyone who's still watching isn't going anywhere.

In terms of Vegeta's fans not forgetting it, this isn't the first time Goku got thrown around by someone so I don't know why out of all the times it happened this is the one we'll hold on to.

So this was a gag fight??? Goku was straight up smashed repeatedly into the ground in his SSJ2 form. Pops up like he's made of rubber, yet can't take a laser from a trash tier bad guy without close to keeling over. I'm not sure why this isn't easy to follow. Goku went into what looks like a serious fight when his attempts to react are completely ineffective. He's smashed around far worse then we have recently seen and with fair less ability to defend himself at all, then comes out without a scratch while also having his SSB kamehaha, TWO OF HIS MOST POWER MOVES, walked through like it was nothing and the show can't both to tell us what the heck is going on.

One sides argument: Kale is clearly weak, she didn't hurt Goku at all.
Other side: Well then WTF did he let her toss him around like a rag doll AND bust out a SSB kamehaha that did nothing. If he's so much stronger why not knock her out in single hit and be done?

None of this makes sense. If Goku could have tanked it as a SSB, then he should have the way Vegeta tanked Cabba's attacks.

Jiren wouldn't have stepped up if it wasn't something he needed to for..
If she was below blue level, toppo would have went instead, like he sends other people behind us when challenged instead of himself engaging..

And why would goku fire a Kamehameha which does no effect? He saw it didn't do anything, powered the wave up further but it still didn't do anything..
What exactly was he going for there if he intended to hold back so much his attack dosen't even phase her
