Vegeta at least cares about something and someone. Hit literally hasn't got any personality. People love him so much because he is stoic and calm guy who pretends to be badass. This formula is kinda boring for me.

This post is so true at least vegeta cares about something I literally see characters like it all the time in different animes

I see characters caring about something all the time too. A man who fights for his pride and his family? Does it get more formulaic than that?

That's why vegeta is the best in the show....he knows that there is 1 certainty in life....a strong man stands above and conquers all !

I disagree hit and goku are boring characters especially hit and goku pretty much badly written and has a superman rip off backstory

Kinda crazy watching a long series where you don't like the main character. I wouldn't do it.

I think the important takeaway here is that red Shenron behind Goku. Makes it more likely that the Goku in the other image is just a red-scaled SSB Goku.

What not really he's not even my favorite character and so I can't watch dragon ball because I don't like goku that logic tho,it's funny because goku is literally the most overrated and hated anime character but I'm pretty sure db fans didn't know that

How can something be "literally" Overrated and most hated? I feel like those two don't go together. It's like being the most hated liked person.

It's hard to perceive the tone at which people type on here, but I'm going to assume you didn't mean to come across as rude. There's nothing wrong with people liking the SSJ4 design regardless of whose idea it was. People can get inspiration from whatever they want. As far as dramatic hairstyles go, yes SSJ3 was a drastic hairstyle change. So I don't see the problem in wanting it be a big change LIKE ssj4. I said nothing about it being EXACTLY like ssj4. Simply used it as an example.

People can like whatever they liked. Super Saiyan 4 isn't a Toriyama's design, so why would he looked to it for any inspiration. Toriyama has been moving away from the whole monkey theme with Saiyans, which is why U6 Saiyans don't have tails.

Super Saiyan 3 may looked different from the other Super Saiyan forms, but it still looks like Super Saiyan. Super Saiyan 4 doesn't. It turn Saiyans into furries.

I think it's fine to not like a character, but some users spend way too much time posting about how much they hate that character at every opportunity whilst talking about how wonderful their character of choice is like it's some sort of political party or sports club.

I imagine for a Goku fan, this "Goku is awful" at every turn must be getting a little tedious by now.

Wait, really? I thought Toriyama provided a lot fo the designs for GT, that being his limited involvement with it.
