My only hope for getting to see them someday is that we made it through F without 'young male child cast member who is also part saiyajin'. If there's precedent, it can happen again.

It's doing better sales wise than BOG, I thought. (I don't have the sales numbers). I don't know how general reception in Japan to it was though.

Could be interesting if that was the case, yeah. (I mean, the movie's success if so might mean, not only roles for Pan/Uub/Bra, but also actually letting Goten and Trunks grow up, both things that I want to see happen.)

Maybe he wants to show them off as Younger then have the age in a timeskip so the growth happens in the series not between series

Because someone in marketing says so, probably.
I'd hate to think what's holding Pan, Bra, and Uub back is marketability. The three of them add diversity! I think them getting to finally do something would be great! And also child Trunks and Goten are getting so repetitive. Pan, Bra, and Uub offer something fresh.

It might be something less sad then that though. It could be that Toriyama just doesn't care about Trunks and Goten the way he cares about Gokû.

The hand scene on the movie was fan service for that. But to be honest, I followed the series back with the original DB run. Adult Goku just made things better. *wink wink*

I would say Future Trunks had a bigger appeal than Vegeta but, yeah, I know where you are coming from.

Depending on translations and dubs, BoG said Videl was already married to Gohan, but I believe the Japanese version originally used a word that could mean either "Bride/Fiancee/Wife".

The leak mentions Goten looking for a wedding gift for Videl. The movie translations could be wrong and she was actually just a fiancee and the wedding will take place immediately after BoG. But if they had actually married before the movie....

If the movie is canon to this series, then it takes place after BOG. Especially when you consider that the same amount of time would have had to pass, considering Pan is pregnant now, and everyone knows.

About the fat Beerus & female Whis, since Chozenshuu #1 implies that there are more than one Hakaishin in the 7th Universe, I predict that the fat cat is Beerus' brother & another Hakaishin of this universe, while the female Whis is his attendant who is from the same race as Whis, if not related to him.

It says that Gohan & Videl are going to get married, while they are already married in BoG. So it will probably begin before BoG, but it will soon get past it, since Beerus & Whis are in.

The dubs could have translated it wrong just to avoid implying extra marital conception. The word used in japanese can mean both things bride/fiance/wife.

Edit: I remember thinking this translation would blow up in their faces if there was any other material that showed their wedding later on.

It does feel like fan service (which I gratefully accept :3 ).
Inside Buu eps felt similar. Cheek to cheek ki blast and its aftermath (Gokû not pulling away till Vegeta snaps him out of it, then later Vegeta trying to rub the Kakarrotto cooties off his cheek and freaking out when Gokû interrupts and waves to him.)

Little of topic but does anyone know why Majin Bejita turned in stone after sacrificing his self? Was there anything stated in Daizenshuu?

I always thought he turned in stone because of him having the evil Majin ki.

Back to topic, I really hope that Toriyama didn't forget about Android 17 and show more of him in Super.
