To be fair, I wouldn't completely discount the possibility of Saonel and Pirina merging with each other. The events of this tournament happen to revolve around a hard-fought struggle for survival. If they lose then their homeworld will be erased from existence. One of the two obliging to increase the power of the other substantially could help raise the odds of their universe surviving. Moreover, we could finally see a Namekian fusion occur with characters not involving Piccolo. If they know each other, which is very likely as the Namekians appear to be a closer-knit species than Saiyans and humans, then it makes the potential fusion all the more plausible and emotionally understandable.

A single rule infraction during a critical moment of universal proportions doesn't seem all too bad when the Namekians realise what the alternative entails. I suspect they would be willing to make an exception for their ToP representatives if it meant saving them all.

In my opinion, it is great and can expand even more what we know about this breed (which I find interesting), with all the differentiated experience of them in another Universe.

What will their relationship be with Piccolo? Will they be friendly and develop a bond? Or unlike U7, will they be evil? Will spaces open for Piccolo to win an UP?
I hope to find out more about the breed with that.

Well, it's not completely out of the question that other universes could have come to discover this technique on their own, right? And even so, Goku seems to have no problem helping apparently. Heck, they could even learn it from Piccolo himself, though it's less likely he'd give the information. Maybe they'd pull that Lord Slug mind read bit.

Admittedly, I find Piccolo's long suppressed darkness being tested with the overt inherent darkness of this U6 brand of Namekians to be an interesting concept. On that level and with their mutually compatible racial characteristics, I could see them forming a connection to each other, but it may have some animosity and distrust interwoven with it since Piccolo no longer has any evil inklings. It's possible Saonel and Pirina might look upon Piccolo with contempt as they perceive him to be a disgraceful outcast for being so benign and ungrudging in relation to the less than heroic Namekian species they originate from; this all just theorising, of course.

Kind of excited to see that Namekians do in fact exist in Universe 6. It would be an excellent time for Piccolo to receive some personalised interaction with people from another universe whom he may be able to hopefully relate on some level with. Bear in mind that he was the reincarnated progeny of the feared Piccolo Daimao for some time before having a change of priorities with befriending Gohan and becoming a self-prescribed hero of his people by volunteering to fight Freeza in their place. Learning how these U6 Namekians diverged on a cultural and potentially moral level could make for some interesting verbal contention on top of the prospective fight that would ensue. Daimao was notorious for having been corrupted by the malevolence nestled in humanity's psyche. What could have made these Namekians evolve into a depraved society? It's assuming they are malevolent, though.

I don't expect for Piccolo to receive some miraculous boost in strength from Saonel or Pirina merging with him. Not only would they have no incentive to do so as they're from mutually opposing universes, neither Namekian appears to be close enough to Piccolo on the moral spectrum to merge with the likes of him. It would be like a reverse Nail situation with Piccolo, the more benevolent of the potential pair, exposing himself to the influences of this other Namekian.

The names of all the other competitors seem interesting, albeit it's still difficult recalling the name of one or two at a time when dozens of them are all participating in this tournament.

Lets say universe 6 is reduced down to one man, being the namekian for some reason (Hitto getting ganged whatever), would it not be better for him to pass on copies of his genes (atleast increasing the likelihood), even if that means fusing with an u7 namekian, rather than being erased completely out of existence? I can very well see it happening.

I'm glad they came up with Namekians for U6 team, even though the one that looks like Piccolo could have some scars in the face to distinguish himself.

Since U6 Saiyans are peaceful, I hope U6 Namekians are the ruthless race and I wonder if they will mention the Namekian Book of Legends.
U7 Saiyans taught U6 Saiyans about SSJ forms, it would only be fair those two Namekians enlighten Piccolo about a power boost he can achieve.

Because I stated a fact, laid out why they are facts, and you counter by attacking me personally instead of arguing the point, like why would Toriyama take inspiration from Super Saiyan 4, especially when he has been going for more simple designs for the transformation with Super Saiyan God being Goku with red hair and skinner and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan being Super Saiyan with blue hair.

It's possible and you give valid reasons for how it could realistically pan out, but I'm not holding my breath. Piccolo appears to have less eligibility for remaining in this tournament until close to the end than the likes of Caulifla and Kale do in the eyes of fans and the studio it seems. I would love more than just about anything else for Piccolo to reclaim some of his old viability. Namekian assimilation seems to be the viable means for going about it since the studio and Toyotaro can't seem to grasp the concept of God Ki and Kaioken being given to other Z-fighters. However, I doubt there's much enthusiasm and willingness to pedestal Piccolo when he's received so little individual recognition in this tournament and in the preceding recruitment episodes. He would come across as a dark horse juggernaut if this scenario in him merging with U6 Namekians were to pan out.

Though I can't help but feel I should seriously curb my expectations, no way will the namekians get even a third of the attention the saiyans are getting. I'll be lucky if they get an episode.

Why would they wait so long to reveal these new Namekians? Are they that important or were they just doing it to keep fans guessing? It also explains why Piccolo hasn't done anything so far in this tournament, they must be saving him for this.
