Superman can't survive in outer space indefinitely either. He can just hold his breath for a really long time.

Not to mention if he's fighting in space...isn't he going to lose breath running around punching and getting punched?

This is what screws Goku the most if both characters go all out. Disregarding the whole "let's not blow up the planet" mentality both characters would obviously have, if something like that were to happen Goku literally can't survive for more than a few minutes.

Superman: How do we do that?
Goku: It's easy. All we have to do is...:dies:

Eventually he'd run out, but Superman's done more extreme feats in space than Goku and held his breath. Superman has vastly superior lungs (their strength is quite handy both for space travel and for offense; the force alone he can create is bad enough, but the freezing breath could really mess Goku up).

If it comes down to an endurance match in space, Goku's got a major disadvantage (well, more so than when fighting in a habitable atmosphere). When it comes to enduring harsh conditions, the Man of Steel takes the cake (40 cakes...and that joke is terrible).

Goku fought both Eis and Nova and said the heat Nova gives off won't affect him and he has broken out and resisted being frozen on a few occasions. I still say this battle could go either way.

Also apparently they won't do the battle royal idea because they said it would just come down to Goku, Superman, and Spawn.

Seems like the levels I got were Allstar>Goku>Supes. I still think SSJ4 can take post crisis but all star was the key factor to the fight. So in other words when Superman charged himself up with the sun he already sealed his victory

The logic they used for their attributes and limits was not flawless but I doubt that there's any better way to do it, so it was a pretty good job.

I don't really care for Screw Attack's Death Battle videos and I wouldn't call this exactly "epic" but in a way I did enjoy it. As for the winner (don't want to spoil it since the video pretty new) I completely agree with SA's logic why he's so powerful.

Also I absolutely loved the fact they added my favorite scene of Superman from JLU. His speech about the world around being card board always gave me chills.

Just focus on MasakoX and RandomGuy's performances and it'll all be better.

So yeah, the outcome was more or less what I expected. Like they said in the video, Goku is all about hitting and surpassing his own limits in a cycle of constant growth, while all incarnations of Superman are created, by default, to HAVE no limits in the first place.

In short, Goku can't beat Superman because Superman is "haxed."

I still say without the sun dip Goku would have taken it. He fought and wore down Superman to the point where he would have won, then he blew it by firing him into the sun which is usually what he resorts to. Sun dipping gives Supes a huge boost.
