It matters because Mt. Paozu was where Son Goku grew up in the anime. But where does it say that "Live Action Goku" doesn't grow up on Paozu in the movie? Either way, a city being named after a mountain isn't a big issue.JAPPO wrote:Uh so would you rather it be named 'Ping pong city' or some random name? Why does it matter?

Emi and Teto. Brand new 'original' characters stuffed into the film needlessly. From what I remember, Teto is Goku's best friend(?). In other words, sloppy props used to develop Goku's character slightly.

That is such bull. Weaver (not Teto) has 1 line in the entire movie and he's not Goku's friend.Snail wrote:Emi and Teto. Brand new 'original' characters stuffed into the film needlessly. He's an extra, more or less.

Mabye he'll end up a major character in the final movie ;P
If he has one line, why even bother giving him a name?

Yeah, they are. Wouldn't it be boring to only see the regular Dragonball characters in this movie and no one else? I think that any "new" characters in the Dragonball series are welcome, in my book. You guys accepted Gure and Tar-bitch...I mean Tarble as useful characters even though each did nothing(Just like Teto/Weaver and Emi will be doing) so why don't you accept these two?The Time Traveller wrote:Aren't they only in like 1 or 2 small scenes?Snail wrote:Emi and Teto. And while you say "liek OMG, OC time" with Teto/Weaver and Emi, shouldn't you have said "Aw, Hell Naw, Baby-Daddy Time" when Tarble(Forgotten child) appeared?

This is his line in the bible (paraphrased):
A solar eclipse is caused by the moon blocking the sun.
Unless they added a ton of lines for him in a later bible, that's it.
I know he had no way of knowing, but to make comparisons to "The O.C." is just ridiculous.

I think he's inferring that he really likes the script.
