What if they also kept away SSJ4 Goku, SSJ4 Gogeta, Super Saiyan God Goku and Super Saiyan Bardock as "DLC"? If you wanted these you'd just have two options: Pre-order or pirate it (so you get the "DLC" unlocked).

Pirating is towards 360 and PS3 because it's still early for PS4/XO but they've already started to rip PS4/XO games to the net (they're obviously not usable atm).

Let em keep em. lol I buy DLC here and there when I see it's worth it or I really like a game a-lot. but I'm not gonna let em scare me by them saying ''If you don't pre-order this you'll do without'' I'll just do without? and if they really want to start crap like that and come out with character season passes(like killer instinct. and I love killer instinct) I just won't buy the game. I didn't buy Killer Instinct until it went to retail and I got it for 15 bucks. saved myself $15. I'd do the same if xenoverse did that which thankfully it's not. I don't care what info is out right now, I'm willing to bet that if you don't pre-order this game you'll still get ssj4 vegeta later down the line in some form of dlc.

Not sure how this works because I've never done that but if it means what I think it means, then they can keep their game. Not going to support this skullduggery.

Off-Topic for the European fans. When did Dragon Ball Z finished for y'all?

In Portugal the Z series ended around 95-96 and then GT came along but Z stayed on air for around 10-ish years because they probably didn't have anything better to broadcast.

Before Z we had Dragon Ball though at that time the hype was really low but once Z stepped in not only it became extremely popular as also it was considered to be "shocking" and made kids/teens skip school for it.

As a kid I loved it but now I absolutely loathe the Portuguese dub 'cause it's garbitch.

I think it ended something like the week after the end in Japan? DBGT took years before it got on TV, though.

Those damn cassettes, I still remember the adverts they did for them like it was yesterday and the more they'd show off the more I wanted but there wasn't any way at the time I could've seen it, so it took a few years later until this happened.

I love Dragon Ball GT (JP voices, music, opening animation, DB in Space) and this was actually the first time that the Portuguese dub was actually really good plus Goku said Majin Boo not "Boo Boo".

We also had Dragon Ball Z: The Legend (PS1/Saturn) which is like Battle of Z in a 2.5D perspective with the original Japanese voice cast and for text, it was in French but since I can still remember bits and pieces I can work out my way of figuring what the subs say.

Not all English dub fans do. I grew up with the toonami dub but I think the Japanese dub and quite a few others that I've been exposed too are better. In terms of kai I like all dubs equally

Yea, and it's funny because when I first watched "Dragon Fist.... If Goku Can't Do It No One Can." I didn't even know he was voiced by a woman. They overreact and that Falconer circlejerk worship is at an all time high of disgusting.

I find it silly they make characters who were already readily available in previous games as exclusives, or DLC. Same nonsense happened with Vegito. The only characters who should be pre order/dlc are characters that have yet to be playable in a previous dbz game.

Bamco, Bamco, Bamco... they're starting to become like Capcom 2.0 with this disc locked BS. I'm not that mad though, cuz I preordered the game, but they freaking better put the GT characters as the last group to unlock, because unlike Japan, GT is sorta popular for the rest of the world. Heck GT was one of the main reasons Budokai 3 and the BT series were very successful.

Speaking of that, why the hell does it matter if a character is canon or not. If there is a huge fan demand to put SSJ4 Goku in a game, then they should do that. Why in the hell do they have to follow the "if this character wasn't in the series, they won't be in the games" mentality. I'm starting to think they're deliberately listening to the pro-canon pricks.

Bandai Namco's really shitty when it comes to Dragon Ball and content that should be part of it without any paywalls.

Um, not just DB, you got other games like the Naruto Storm series where in Storm 3, the player fought the Edo Kages that weren't playable in the game.
