I would not be too surprised if Goku and Freeza are the last two Universe 7 guys and totally unexpected for the Z senshi Goku is thrown out and they have to rely of all people on Freeza. Like, in the last 2 minutes or so.

That would be epic, everyone rooting for Freeza to beat Jiren or something like that

They also removed the bug fighter in the op in a magazine. So much mystery with those warrior,I truly think they will be in the final battle instead of Jiren,this franchise is infamous for subverting the audience expectation. yay I reach 2000 post

Damon might get a re-design like Majora and Ganos did, I still expect him to be there. Part of me wants that unknown 10th fighter from U4 to be that strong mortal because Quitela would be great as the main villain of the ToP due to the history he has with Beerus.

The reason we do not see their picture is because they must be invisible and not even the Zenos and Grand Priest have seen them. That is why we saw thr Namekians and not these 2.

The real question is why have not utilised this skill already.

The only other reason might be they actually dont really exist and are hidden in one of the other characters or will appear like Saibamen.

Majora has opened eyes and blueish fur in the opening, and Ganos doesn't have green skin in the opening...

Ganos had a different skin color in the OP, and Majora wasnt blind. It wouldnt be the first time in which the OP has incomplete designs in a series, i remember in Captain Tsubasa that Ken Wakashimazu had a different design in OP compared to how he looked in the anime.

You're right about Majora, but the person in the opening that resembles Ganos looks very different compared to him. Different skin color, different eyes, different outfit (the lower part at least), different hair color and looks a lot more feminine than Ganos. Could be just a huge re-design though. We'll see.

It would kinda be like the Cell Saga when the Android were implied to be the strong foes but it was Cell at the end.

Cell also came out of nowhere with no foreshadow.

Don't know much about the manga in that part, but the anime did great with an episode ending with Bulma receiving a photo from the damaged Time Machine, Gohan and Trunks searching for clues and then Kami talking about a monster that Piccolo had no idea about it. It can't really say there was no foreshadow.

Probably why they're bringing back SSG too, as a callback to Beerus vs Goku.

I wont be surprised if they reuse the scenes from episode 10-14, because Toei thinking no one will remember the Goku vs Beerus fight from 2015 because most fans wanted to forget the movie re-tellings.

November...that still feels way too long for how this arc's been turning out so far, but it does mean that maybe we'll get info on the next arc at this year's Jump Festa. It's also a bit better than I feared; my guess was they were going to stretch this arc all the way until January.
