I could see all of this happening. The fights with U6 could be 2-3 episodes itself. Jiren stomping several characters is looking fairly likely, and they could fit that all in one episode. I have no idea who is going to fight Toppo though.namekiansaiyan wrote:I doubt Hit will face Vegeta. It think it could be Jiren who takes out Hit based on the way it is going . Goku vs Kale and Caulifla, Vegeta vs Cabba and Piccolo vs the Namekians will almost certainly happen towards the end of the tournament and these fights will probably last at least 1 episode each. Then there has to be a fight with Toppo and then Jiren which will be about e episodes. I definitely think Jiren is going to take out quite a few very quickly from Universe 2, 3 and 4.sintzu wrote:It's going to be tough to find room for everyting. Don't understand why we need more Goku vs Kale/Caulifla.namekiansaiyan wrote:I doubt Hit will face Vegeta. It think it could be Jiren who takes out Hit based on the way it is going . They had their time to shine already (2 episodes...), they need to let other characters in the limelight. Don't even have Goku eliminate them, have some fighters from U2, U3, or U4 eliminate them. It gives the other universes legitimacy instead of just using them as kindling for Jiren.

I was honestly hoping they would just run into Frieza as they walked away from Goku. Just have him pop in "Oh the monkey let you go? I'm not that nice".hardcorefakes wrote:Don't understand why we need more Goku vs Kale/Caulifla.namekiansaiyan wrote:I doubt Hit will face Vegeta. Even having someone like Dyspo do it to give him more credibility vs Hit would have been good.
Also could have been other universe like you said as well.

I don't understand either since how will they be able to fight Goku but it is obviously implied.hardcorefakes wrote:Don't understand why we need more Goku vs Kale/Caulifla.namekiansaiyan wrote:I doubt Hit will face Vegeta. 12-13 episodes could be plenty if they play their cards right. We're 6 episodes into the tournament right now and nearly half of the field has been eliminated. Plus there's every possibility that multiple fighters could be left standing when the clock winds down.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Agreed. I'm going to a guess and say 5 more episodes until the top 10 duke it out, someone nuking the field again eliminating a huge chuck beforehand.BlueBasilisk wrote:12-13 episodes could be plenty if they play their cards right. Its gonna be Jirren,it also makes sense why only 1 U7 and U6 member have been knocked out so far.RedHeat wrote:Agreed. They are gonna pull a Nappa where Jirren wrecks everyone of U7/U6 apart from Goku, which will give Jirren credibility before he is taken down.

My bad, I forgot to actually count 97.GodVegetto91 wrote:Actually we're 7 episodes into the tournament.BlueBasilisk wrote:12-13 episodes could be plenty if they play their cards right. Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
There's still what...40 other fighters around outside of U7? Unless like 10 characters get eliminated in a single episode again like what happened with U9, I don't think this is enough time.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
This prediction seems to be gaining ground. I figured the fact that there are so many U7/U6 members left that my guess was either they'd have Jiren body people several characters Nappa style, or something's going to happen to where this saga ends without almost everyone being eliminated from the tournament.Whatever wrote:Its gonna be Jirren,it also makes sense why only 1 U7 and U6 member have been knocked out so far.RedHeat wrote:Agreed. The ending seems to imply Goku/Gohan will team up against Jiren.

I tend to sometimes visit the forum on my phone, but recently I keep running into issues on it where Kanzenshuu doesn't allow me to access the forums. Hope that gets fixed.
Anyways, what is all this talk about November 2017 being the end of the arc? I haven't seen any confirmation from Jake or anything, so I don't think people should put too much into this yet, no?

I think people (including myself) are really just speaking in hypothetical at the moment in case this is true.DainIronfoot wrote:I tend to sometimes visit the forum on my phone, but recently I keep running into issues on it where Kanzenshuu doesn't allow me to access the forums. I expect a Jiren Rampage soon kicking out U3 on his own.

I don't even care about Jiren doing something. I want him to actually be unique in SOME way when he finally does make a move. Hit has his time skip thing, his mercenary background, and his awesome design. So far, Jiren has absolutely nothing going for him. Pure brute strength, no interesting background aside from being a part of the Pride Troopers, and a continuous stoic personality will make him into the worst main antagonist this franchise has ever had.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Why wouldn't 13 more episodes be enough? If they stop fucking around the remaining fodders could get eliminated quite easily in 3-4 episodes, and leave us with:
Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Freeza, Piccolo, Hit, Frost, Cabba, Caulifla, 2 U6 Namekians, Toppo, Jiren, Ribrianne, Ganos
That's 15 fighters unless I forgot someone, which would have enough time to fight.

Calling it now, the tournament itself is not even 13 more episodes but the arc's finale as well is included.

Yes you forgot that Goku vs Jirren is gonna be a 3 episodes fight at the least, considering Goku is gonna get a new form.emperior wrote:Why wouldn't 13 more episodes be enough? If they stop fucking around the remaining fodders could get eliminated quite easily in 3-4 episodes, and leave us with:
