I don't think we need to get into that.Animefreak1325 wrote:Bleh... Bruce Faulconer...
In other news, anyone think this'll just use the same engine as Zenkai Battle Royale?

I'm hoping it will. The we can get away from the Spaking/Raging Blast engine the better. The RB games were really bad. Hoping the ZBR engine will be ported to consoles well enough to actually be playable.Kendamu wrote:I don't think we need to get into that.Animefreak1325 wrote:Bleh... Bruce Faulconer...

I'm thinking we'll get the Tenkaichi engine based on what I've seen in the trailer.Kendamu wrote:I don't think we need to get into that.Animefreak1325 wrote:Bleh... Bruce Faulconer...

The combat moves Goku executed in the trailer were the same as in RB.

You know what... this gives me an idea, how about we suggest to Spike that WE should be in this game! I wanna see VegettoEX, Herms, Kaboom, Tanooki Kuribo, and Rocketman as playable characters! The Tori-bot wrote:Why, I'm right here, suga--Hellspawn28 wrote:Meh give me Tori Bot instead any of the day of the week.

I was talking about the Project Age trailer. I can't say anything about ZBR since I have never really looked into it.Kendamu wrote:What about the combat moves in ZBR? Same?InfernalVegito wrote:The combat moves Goku executed in the trailer were the same as in RB.

Considering we see one quick-execution attack (I doubt they hit that fast) and a few 'specialised' moves. I doubt you can make the assertion 100% factually.InfernalVegito wrote:The combat moves Goku executed in the trailer were the same as in RB.

Ok so I've seen some gameplay videos of ZBR and some moves look slightly the same but overall it's totally different.Kendamu wrote: That's what I meant. Watch it and compare.
I know. It looks the same though.Jaruka wrote: Considering we see one quick-execution attack (I doubt they hit that fast) and a few 'specialised' moves. I doubt you can make the assertion 100% factually.

Let's not get too bogged down until we have evidence though, the game will be playable on the 30th June so we'll see thenInfernalVegito wrote: I know. It looks the same though.

I'm starting to think the giant characters are going to be bosses or apart of QTEs in story mode. If they are really going to be this big in the game, it wouldn't be fair to play as them or against them in a normal match.

After the past two days of the Zenkai Battle Royale hypeness, I watched the trailer for this game again and the feeling I got now is..."Meh". Spike is really going to have to show something spectacular besides the planet explosions in order for me to get hype for this and even though I will probably never play it, ZBR has stole the show so far.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

I'm not really hyped for ZBR since it's a Japan arcade exclusive. I can't get hyped for games I know I can't play.goku the krump dancer wrote:After the past two days of the Zenkai Battle Royale hypeness, I watched the trailer for this game again and the feeling I got now is..."Meh". But if it generates enough hype , buzz ect... It's possible it'll get ported to consoles in the future. It's happened before
Re: Dragon Ball: Game Project Age 2011 (Pre-Release Discussi
It's also very cheap and easy to do after a few months at the arcade. It'll probably be one of those things where they'll say they're releasing it and Japan will get it within 6 months. I except it around April 2012, six months or so after Project Age is released.SSJmole wrote:But if it generates enough hype , buzz ect... It's possible it'll get ported to consoles in the future. Assuming Project Age doesn't just borrow this engine.

Even though the character models are different, I would like to hop that this game borrows ZBR's engine.
