Why is Toei reanimating Sailor Moon but not DBZ?

Just got it on mail. Tommorow i plan to fully watch it, from fragments i've seen, Polish dub is really great for all characters, and video/audio quality is top notch Minus for not including translation of Moon Revenge, even in subtitles, other than that, really great release, and I'm waiting for more. i hope Anime Eden will get rights for BoG or F movies

With any luck none of the best staff of Dragon Ball Super will leave to work on this third cour. Now that Sakai Munehisa has left Toei Animation after how the first two arcs turned out the project will also need a new series director. Komura Toshi'aki, Kaizawa Yukio and Kakudou Hiroyuki are the three biggest names I can think of who are available right now.

I noticed there's no listed start date for season 3. I'm just hoping whenever it does start that it doesn't mess with Super much. (Not that Super has had that much spare time to work with anyway).

I know this is the arc where the manga and first anime really diverge, so I am curious as to how it'll turn out here.

Also curious as to how this'll look without Sakai, and who will replace him.

The idea would be to hire a character designer who is actually good should the comic be adapted into a new animated series.

Once again Toei have lots of shows this year, New Precure, One Piece, now Crystal, wouldn't really count on Super to improve too much.

Toei really does take on too much at once.

At least with Crystal it'll give me something shoujo from Toei to watch. Chances are high I'll be skipping this year's Precure. You know they're not even "legendary warriors" in MahoPri? They're "legendary witches" now.

Crystal's been mostly a mess, but it's been an entertaining one imo.

Takahashi Akira is now the character designer. With any luck the animation won't look like complete shit now even if its rushed.

They look like they can move around more fluidly now. I'm good with the updated designs.
The previous designs were closer to the manga, but by the same coin were also stiff looking in motion.

I remember Suite (one of the two Takahashi Precure series) having very Sailor Moon inspired transformation sequences. It'd be nice to get hand animated transformations this time in Crystal. I wouldn't hold my breath for them though.

From what I've heard, Sailor Moon Crystal got better after the first batch of episodes, right?

To be perfectly honest, i didn't really find animation to be that bad, especially in Season 2, and most errors were fixed for home release. It certainly looked better than Super, in my opinion
