Probably. Zamasu and Gowasu watched the U6/U7 tournament on Godtube.

To be honest, I would've been far more comfortable and less irked about Dyspo being this strong had the show not have established his character as some pathetic weakling that was about to be munched up by that venus fly trap monster 18 episodes ago.

It wasn't strength, it was speed.

He still proved capable of bruising up Hit though.

He needed help from a Pride Trooper to do that. And prior to that, Dyspo was basically pulling what The Flash does and overwhelming Hit with super fast attacks.

Dyspos initial appearance probably should have been a little better and showcased his speed. Or at least gone the Jiren route and kept his abilities a mystery. It doesn't bother me much, but I can see why people are shocked that Dyspo isn't as much a push over as they might have thought.

I hope U4 fights U6 as well (we saw Ganos and Magetta, but I highly doubt they'll be fighting).

I don't think there's been no explanation so far as to how and why Goku used SSJG at this moment. But given that he can alternate between SSJG and SSJB, I'm guessing he could always use SSJG but never choose to.

That would have been the perfect thing to use against Hit in the U6 Tournament instead of the life threatening Kaioken. This has to be in Tori's outline because I don't see TOEI not dragging God back at an earlier date just for the sake of it.

Yeah, something is definitely up. If we don't get an explanation as to how Goku can use SSJG in the anime before the tournament end, I'll be really annoyed. This really does seem like something Toriyama specifically wanted to be thrown into the tournament.

The biggest issue I had with this episode was the fact there was no mention or a hint of sadness for Gowasu. I would of expected at least our Kaioshin and Goku to react a little...

The 2nd thing, while I liked the reference to the manga, it was awkward seeing Goku jump in with God like that with once again barely any reaction from anyone or explanation.

Hit was what I was looking forward to the whole time. God is my favorite form, but to bring it back now always seemed fishy and I wasn't expecting much good to come out of it.

Toei hates to give us explanations for things. We got no explanation for Rose, no explanation for Ikari, no explanation for the Spirit Sword asspull, no explanation for not being able to sense the Trio de Dangers ki, no explanation for Kale having LSSJ, and at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if Goku's new transformation gets no explanation

At the rate things are going, I honestly won't be surprised if manga Goku pulls out the SSB Kaioken during the tournament to fight Jiren.
