Actually "bae" comes from when some as-of-yet-unidentified (probably famous) person tried to type 'babe' but slipped and missed a letter, then wouldn't admit it was a typo and invented a new slang term completely by accident. Then months later somebody came up with the acronym you mentioned. XD
