Art wasn't as good as Yashima's 15, but the animation was better. Yashima's style does seem to be improving though, the seemingly uncorrected shots from him are looking a lot better now, except for Piccolo who he can't draw for shit. Very solid episode, the NEP look pretty great too and I'm pretty sure that base Goku shot at night was a VERY Z looking Shimanuki.

Wow, that was fantastic. Polished from start to finish. I seriously didn't believe for a second that it was a true solo episode from Yashima. I was convinced the 2nd KAs were going to be KAs based on that. Props to Yashima. Great work!
That NEP was dark. I think I spotted Shimanuki, but I'll have to double-check that.
Do not forget that Yashima did a shit ton of work recently:
- Animation Supervisor and Key Animator for episode 63.
- Animation Supervisor and Key Animator for episode 64.
- Key Animator for episode 67.
And he still managed to give us an extremly polished episode. Respect.

Yeah, EP15 had some fantastic art, but this episode edges that one out because the art style and animation really helped in expressing and emphasising the overall comedic atmosphere of the episode. Which was key in me enjoying this episode as much as I did.

Can't wait to get a better look! My eyes were drawn to my Twitter feed as Animator's Corner posted the credits within seconds, so I accidentally didn't pay attention. Woops!
Will have to wait for Crunchy now. You've got me excited.

Whatever they are paying Yashima is not enough. The fact the show has such a tight schedule and he is still able to produce the quality that he has is nothing short of remarkable. His work ethic should be admired.

Episode 44 was a filler episode and looked better than this.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Really solid episode from start to finish. I did not find a single weird animation moment from the episode. There was some bad yashima art at times, but it did not hinder the quality of the episode. As for the NEP, looks like its going to be a reasonably good looking episode. I am expecting good things from #71 and #72.
Also, netype got everything right about this episode(finally).

From a visual stand point? I can't see how you could possibly think that. An opinion is an opinion though.

Assuming newtype got 72 right then I really wonder who's fighting in that episode. The Goku vs Hit fight seemingly ends in the episode it starts in and Goku is seemingly dead, but there is no way they would put Tate and Karasawa on the same episode if it wasn't action heavy. I'm very intrigued.

I'm assuming it's maybe Vegeta vs Hit, if Goku is truly dead. Or perhaps they do something where in #71 they show Goku and Hit meeting and cut straight to Gohan & co finding him dead, and in #72 they show us their fight.

It's art-style I appreciate the most, to be honest. It's help provides emphasis on the comedic moments, making the episode more enjoyable from both a narrative and visual standpoint. It just blends together so well.

Maybe things calmed down in TOEI, that the NewType is accurate now? Or they got a bunch of animators in the upcoming episodes? Just speculating
I'm bad at English and still learning. If there's anything wrong, please correct me.
Newtype has been right before, it's just the last 2 months where it has been wrong a couple of times. I am expecting good things from #71 and #72 because they seem to be putting a lot of their good/decent staff into these episodes.
