For the dvd boxes, isn't it possible that whatever arc it covers has an odd episode count so they added one extra to squeeze it in there? One extra episode is no big deal. I wish Funi would do that so we could get the arcs in a single set instead of one episode short. :problem:

I really don't see the ToP arc running all the way to episode 133 anyway. I'll be surprised if it goes to 120.
Its not ending in November thats for sure
Bit of an assumption there.
I'm basing it on the breaks it could happen but they would have to rush the shit outta of it so if they take there time i see it ending in December or January

The start of January will be episode 120 and start of February 124. I would say February.

The end of November will be episode 115. This is too short for everything left surely.
They would depend on the pacing and story. People thought the Future Trunks Saga would go into the 70s.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Wasn't it close tho? Plus they probably heard the complaints about the arc being rushed so they could've learn from it and take there time with this arc the thing is already longer the ft saga

There will most likely be a sequel series set after EOZ with Trunks, Goten, Pan, Uub, and maybe Gohan as the new main heroes.

It was obvious this tournament was designed to be a "farewell" to the older DBZ cast (besides Yamcha), as every notable old character took part in it, while the kids Trunks/Goten were left out. I fully expect them to make a saga focused solely on the younger heroes, hopefully Gohan at least remains relevant.

It's time for Goku and Vegeta to retire to the bahamas!

If it was going to be included it would be included on the previous set.

I just want the end of AT's story to have Goku and Vegeta have their final fight in space like the timeline for DBO said.
Zamasu is the best DB villain besides Freeza (and this is only the case because the current Super arc elevated Freeza to be that good).

Goku Vegeta have no reason to fight to the end anymore, it will be horribly anticlimactic way to end it..
Them individually beating Berrus would be a much better way for it to go..

Let me see, blu-ray releases have had 12 episodes in each set, but they are having one with 13 soon? Well, I do think that can mean something. Maybe it is the end of Super, which it doesn't have to be the end of DB, they can go on with another sequel series after the EoZ. I hope they do.

Oh, and they should retire Goku and Vegeta.

Well, I'd go with Oob + the young saiyans. But a young Roshi special, that would be fun.

Vegeta was already semi-retired at EOZ. And Goku will be there to train Uub, but that's it.

The whole franchise is headed in the direction of new young heroes. Trunks, Goten, Uub, Pan (maybe even Bra or Marron), will likely be the new main characters. If we're lucky Gohan at least will remain relevant because he is a young hero too.

Any new show will start up with the young cast at Piccolo's training camp.

Future Trunks Saga officially ended on Epsoide 66.

Only the last two episodes of the Future Trunks Saga was rushed, with some complaining the arc dragged with the two time trips. And most of the TOP length came from the recruitment which had some filler stuff in it like space porcheres.

That would be lame since Goku doesn't even care about Vegeta. He dumped him for new rivals and to surpass Beerus.

Dragon Ball isn't JoJo. It is and will never be a generation story. Goku is the main focus well everyone else comes and goes. Plus, seeing how 'well' Baruto is doing, why would Toei bother with the 'next generation'?

People here really overrate the next generation.

Unless someone goes on a rampage and knocks quite a few out this tournament is not going to end soon.

Well, this tourument already knocked out an entire universe in one episode and five Pride Troopers in another. So massive knockouts have already happened.

Do you seriously think Toei will never do anything with Pan or Uub? Uub's been referenced in Super already and they clearly like Pan and want to do something with her again. It's also natural to assume Trunks and Goten will be in a major role as they're older and fighters. Trunks will also be back in his popular adult form and they market the hell out of that.

I think it would also be nice if Marron has the same role her father did in Dragonball/DBZ, and they could use Bra as the new younger Bulma.
