My advice: Let's do something serious or forget about the release we want. As long as people are active, complaining makes sense but when it becomes complaining for complaining it starts to be boring and even annoying in some parts. Due to the fact that we are 1% of the fanbase (including 0% of people who are willing to fight for what they want) we cannot achieve anything, but any attempt would back our complains and prove that we are not a bunch of sissies who can only cry. A true man should back his words with deeds.

As long as you don't want to do anything, I completely agree with Anime Maakuo's advice (the one before and the one after the post was edited :D). Season sets are exact representation of your effort and as long as you are just sitting and crying, you have no right to complain.
Like I said earlier, we should get off our lazy asses, and do an organized tweet effort to get the DBZ collection we not only want, but deserve after years of hardcore appreaciation to the series.

This way we will publically call out Funimation, and they will have to answers to their fans, and to their rival companies.

They already have what we want in the dragon box's so all they would have to do is release them

Another thing we can do is not buy these dvd/blu-ray seasons
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I want the Levels, I already have the DragonBoxes. They should just make the Dragon Boxes a common item. And the levels limited edition, for our limited market of harcore fans.

I guess now they can put the Kai soundtrack on the levels, and audio for select episodes, as well as that filtered audio. :)

To make it Limited Edition and not have the Japanese credits + NEPs that's not really satisfying the hardcore audience in complete, the Dragon Boxes Z on the other hand have exactly what I'd want from it except the broadcast audio.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

The film masters FUNimation has flat out don't *have* Japanese credits though (though they might have previews, albeit without the audio). They can't do level sets with Japanese credits, it's just not possible.

I don't think that's completely true as there was a set of japanese credits on the Orange Bricks, only Zenkai Power though but I remember someone saying that it was the same episode used for all. While We Were Angels was textless.

At best, what FUNimation could have done is translated all the credits, through what they had access on the Dragon Boxes. Unfortunately, the approval process for full translated credits isn't as simple as just translating them and sticking them on the release, as they have to get it approved by the Japanese rights holder (in this case, Toei Animation).

It literally was Episode 1's ending credits, repeated over and over again. So it was rather pointless that was even included, to begin with.

The Orange Bricks had Japanese title cards, here's one of them for example: http://i.imgur.com/hvigo3B.png

I also recall seeing the full Japanese OP/ED credits on the Bardock & Trunks TV-Specials so they do have access even if it's different in some way.

But seeing how FUNimation has made Japanese credits a thing of the past for their releases it's not to be expected on the newer ones or current. It's odd that out of the three bricks, Orange Bricks' was the only one to provide Japanese credits in some form whereas the other two didn't.

They do have Japanese title cards, yes. And they also have Japanese credits for the movies and TV specials, because those are 'in bulk', a complete thing. For normal series episodes though, I believe they received only the 'main' part of the episodes on film, without the openings or endings (and a standalone instance of the opening and ending animations, of course). The easiest way to be sure though, is to just check the episodes that FUNimation put up for watching online— for subtitled streams, FUNimation always uses the most unedited footage they have, without any of their own credits or edits. So if the subtitled streams on Hulu or something like that don't have Japanese credits, it's because FUNimation didn't get them in the first place (just compare with any other series of theirs, like One Piece—the DVDs have English credits only, but the subtitled streams on Hulu have the original Japanese credits).

Toriyama notoriously doesn't care about DB. Sailor Moon's author notoriously does care about that series.
I've noticed everything DBZ fans request for, Sailor Moon fans get.

-An actual remake
-A redub of the original
-Blu-Rays that are not cropped

Keep on fighting the good battle, Takeuchi.

Well, I think Sailor Moon needed a redub more than Dragon Ball did. The first two series, as of today, still don't have uncut dubs, with the 5th series not having been dubbed at all. Regardless of what you think of Dragon Ball's dub, it does cover the entire series uncut, and has the orginal score. I do think it would've been cool had Kai been totally redone, though.

Oh I'm in agreement with you there.

Between the SM and Ranma 1/2 Blurays there's no way I'd get DBZ on Bluray. I was kinda curious to see the Buu Arc dubbed out of nostalgia.

Gohan looks a tad off proportionally. I think its the head-body ratio.
Favorite Movies: Alien, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, The Thing, Evil Dead, The Land Before Time
Favorite Shows: Cardcaptor Sakura, Doctor Who, Wallace and Gromit, Wakfu, Yu Yu Hakusho
Favorite Manga: Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, Dragon Ball

Hey guys! does android 19 show up in season 4's Blu-ray(You'd think I would remember after all these years of being a dragonball fan haha) but would someone do me a quick favor? check and see if his original voice filter is intact for me please? because they removed it in the OB's. they also removed Boo's original voice filter and Goku's full Kamehameha against Cell. but hopefully they didn't remove it.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

From what I could hear, the filter has still been removed.

Sorry buddy I don't. it's on Youtube somewhere. give me a bit to hook my laptop up and go get some links for ya. :)

Edit - Okay sorry about that. I believe this is it. it's been so long since I heard it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXzooTdJ3U0
also when Funimation released the Orange Bricks they took out a part of Goku's Kamehameha. But to give you an idea what part was removed at 54 seconds Goku's says Me! it's like you can hear him in the distance say it. but it was removed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GI-L-JUVHiY
