It's more than likely fake, as I believe. But I do not want Freeza to humiliate Vegeta once again just like he did in Namek saga, Vegeta should now have the turn to do it for Freeza. Did you noticed that in none of news Vegeta isn't damaged a bit, I really hope that might mean something.

Can someone please tell me why Dragon Ball, of all franchises, seems to have a plethora of misinformation perpetuated by legions of fans? Between all the fake YT videos of series that don't exist, drawings of transformations that don't exist and this kind of stuff. I just, don't get it.

Simply because this is not an American/western show, we can't be ahead of or concurrent with the Japanese creators since they're the ones making the stuff and we're the ones dubbing/translating it. Of coarse DB having a slightly different fan demographic compared to other anime shows is also another reason.

We can't be ahead of or concurrent with the creators because they're creating it. The fact that we aren't Japanese doesn't really matter very much in terms of getting news; they're at most a couple days ahead of us, and we'll learn of any important reveals immediately after they do.

Fan art and fake news come from fans who are starving for more information and like to speculate.

I think it is obviously setting up Vegeta as the last man standing against Freeza. Maybe Goku wants to take care of Freeza, but fails and Vegeta is shocked about Goku's and or Freeza's power and in his despair he brings out SSGod and fights Freeza. I think that's what will happen.

While I believe that Vegeta will get SSGod, the way it works now requires a ritual, and isn't something that can simply be brought out.
...At least, not until it's been brought out once already.

It's not like Dragon Ball is the only franchise that will have a plethora of misinformation perpetuated by legions of fans. Before Godzilla 2014 was coming out, there was a lot o fake leaks on the web and a lot of fans fell for it. Dragon Ball fans always seem to love to make fakes just to fool people. I remember one site was selling fake AF DVD's to fans before Funimation step in and shut down the site.

Because I posted about it weeks ago before the first line of screen shots and trailer even showed up. And the members here discussing it concluded it to be a fake even though it has a striking resemblance to this screen
