I mean, I do get what you're saying - you want the series to look as good as it possibly can, and this being a super long series - on top of everything else Toei is doing - means that's most likel - ...okay, yeah, it means it pretty much just isn't gonna happen - but so long as it at least looks manageable, then that's good enough for me at least.

Goten role in Super is so fucking amazing so far! Bonding with Goku. No wonder Goku trains him in EoZ. No wonder they look alike. They're the same . Goten giving his dad tips for Mother, helping his dad, giving him a Bento, AND getting his sister a present! Goten becoming his own character! I fucking love it. No Trunks at all. Just Goten being Goten! Goten having good character chemistry with everyone! He's just so amazing. Thank you Super for doing something right! Gosh this got me excited. Goten enjoy your spotlight. Fuck the haters and Go Ten. You're an amazing kid and you deserve every spotlight ever. Keep helping your dad. Bond with him. Goku's a great father! KEEP raising him Goku. Goten is the greatest.

'Nobody' is short hand for 'a spectacularly tiny number of folks'. The series will do well simply being aimed at the lowest common denominator so there isn't much need to actually put solid time, staff and money into the project, especially if it is going to run for a continuous two years.

... and in my response to this episode summary which I've yet to weigh on. I personally like it. Although not exactly what I wanted, I wouldn't mind if they fill in the gaps between BOG and ROF a bit. I just want them to get to the ROF era as quickly as they can without rushing because I am really more interested in that time frame since they got Super Cyan and new outfits and all that.

The female characters don't have to be badass fighters. I just want them to actually DO something.

Well, Bulma was important in almost every arc. When you compare her to female heroes from other classic shonen (like Saint Seiya, Hokuto no Ken, Yuyu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, etc), she was quite prominent.

Well, at least in Omega there were quite enough powerful females. Aquilla Yuna, Hornet Sonia, Gemini Paradox, Gemini Integra, Holy Sword Gallia, Pallas (she is a goddess though, so it is granted)

Well, I a least hope that Shaina becomes that Ophiuchus Gold Saint, which was mentioned in Next Dimension, and Saintia Sho having a main hero being a girl, sounds like a good idea. Love there it is going. No discussion of this anymore though.

But, I agree, Bulma was very important in almost every arc, despite her not being a fighter, and she was the main reason why everything went right in the end of Android Saga.

This is horrible, this is like the worst way possible. Toriyama working with Toei on plot, I don't want it. I either want series fully by Toriyama, or by Toei, not some mix. They surely don't agree on a lot of things, so it will turn series into a big mess.

Yup that is exactly what I think it means. The guy couldn't even be bothered to write a proper script for "F", for example the scene where the Z fighters vs Freeza army and all he wrote was 'this was the greatest battle ever' or something to that effect, do you really think he will be heavily involved in a weekly tv series?

Man, this is really bad, don't trust in Toei

Even Soul of Gold, which is so far the best stand alone project which I see from Toei (not counting Precures, etc) has a quite rushed, and not that interesting plot.

Toriyama will probably give them the main plot points and Toie will fill in the gaps.

For example,he'll write that the series begins with Goku&Goten hanging out and Toie will flesh it out.

Another example is the fights,he'll write that Goku fights evenly with the main villain for a certain amount of time and Toie will be the ones to decide how the fight plays out.

I've always enjoyed Toei "slice-of-life" filler, just not when they get into the serious plots for arcs (lol Garlick Jr. & Other World Tournament). So, I'm fine with Toriyama handling the main plot and Toei fleshing out the rest.

Having Shida do a BANK animation that could be reused would be nice. It would make things easier for the episode directors if they could save drawings through re-using transformations.

The only thing Toie will be doing is turning Toriyama's plots into episodic arcs so yes they'll be involved but not in a way that'll change or change Toriyama's story.
