Aww, that last comic is adorable! I'm guessing the problem is that poor Marron is too old to really get much out of playing with Bra and Pan, but too young at that point to play with the older Goten and Trunks. She really is kind of in the middle there.

I commissioned the wonderfully talented sideburn004 to draw Trunks and an OC from my fanfic, and I think she did an amazing job!

And yes, Trunks's look is a little different from canon because in the fic he's almost 26 years old (and because I wanted to give him a more normal pair of pants hahah).
