Can anyone brief me on what happened in the last 24 hours?

'Starting in October, it at last reaches a turning point as Goku finally faces off with his strongest opponent, Jiren. From there on out it will truly be a continuous run from Goku and co.’s big battle to the climax'.

This is a comment by the producer and from it I get that it is a turning point in the tournament and that it will start to get serious with all the big fights starting and this will continue until the tournament ends.

Per the prdoucer, the DBS special will mark the start of the tournament's climax, as Goku starts to fight Jiren.

"continuous run from Goku and co.’s big battle to the climax" Goku and co.'s big battle could mean all of them going for Jiren.

More likely he meant that others will be having their final battles while Goku does.

Not to say there can't be some team up at some point but that's what I got from it.

I'm glad the "special" is after OP means we don't have to wait a 2 weeks between it and the next DBS episode!

I just want it all to be focused on Goku vs Jiren.

I asked Furuya what his Yamcha tweet 3 months ago was about. He answered me today and it was for Dragon Ball Fighterz. Not for Dragon Ball Super or a special, but for the game. At least we now know he is in the game.

Uhm.. unless he's suicidal and stupid that he hasnt noticed there's only 3 of them left and U7 and 6 has about 8+ of them left, then I think he should be more than interested now than he was from the start.

Why didn't they start in episode 105 or 106. They are not going to take out 30 fighters. THAT IS RIDICULOUS!

Because they're just about to? if you havent noticed every ep has been moving pretty slow in universe, that or giving our cast their screentime before going down, they didnt exactly just brought the older characters up just to have them not get a good showing before going down.

They wont our Namek friend is right. You Goku Fanboys need to realize he won´t be the last man standing and winning the tournament.

After 105 there are 34 minutes and 40 fighters left.
Basically 9 Episodes = 14 minutes in the ToP and you will tell us its soon already over with the upcoming Goku vs Jiren fight.
We havent even seen Frieza since his short scenes in 101(w/Vegeta beating up the U10 guy) and 102 (the love attack) and our cast had enough screentime?
Vegeta wasnt seen 3 Episodes in a row now.

Of course Goku Fanboys want all for himself as usual. Let Jiren eliminate 35 Fighters so Goku vs Jiren is the end of the Arc...
Not gonna happen, boys.

Maybe the ToP get interrupted bc the ring is close to being destroyed. Maybe Goku and Jiren ringout each other

It's just two episodes back to back. There's nothing special about them except that. Just two standard episodes, airing back to back, on the same day

We know he is really strong becuase of Toppo and what he did to Kale so just facing Goku makes more sense then defeating anyone else.

If Jiren is who needs to be hyped, there are only two ways for it to happen..
Him taking out almost all remaining contestants in a swoop
Or him beating someone strong enough, Vegeta and freeza come to mind.. As beating SSBKK isn't enough coz Goku isn't exactly "beat" like that..

I will go the route of his team doing the first choice and him taking part in the second..

• There are only 3 pride troopers left and Toppo is done playing hero, so is dyspo.. They take care of other fighters so Jiren doesn't have to..
• Freeza was said to be equal to Goku for a reason and hero's trailer helps too, Jiren beats Freeza easily and we get Goku vs Jiren in the special..

Since when did DB only went with saying "oh, Jiren is strong" and that serves as enough of a reason to not give him a good feat when it comes to fighting? and him defeating Kale wasnt even that good considering it wasnt even a fight, Kale was high and wasnt even looking at him, from the looks of it Jiren caught her off guard as she was going for Cauli for some reason. We need actual characters going to him and challenging him, if not then by far Jiren's the most horribly handled main enemy of an arc, a sorry excuse of a threat.

Toriyama will more than likely have Goku and Jiren go out then everyone else going out quickly.

I can see that happening, but I still think Jiren will take out some U7 and 6 characters, its strange how only 1 of their members are out while 2 universes already went boom and U11 the supposed big threat are down to 3, its going way too good for our protagonists.
