I imagine that since this is the biggest news since the series wrapped up, moreso than the surprise of BoG that you can bet that record will be beaten. :lol:

What I'm getting wary of is that db has such a humongo cast by now, even bigger than before and if they decide to add in even more new characters with dbs, I'm seriously unsure of how things would play out without things getting too jumbled or stale. It would make hella sense to cut out quite a decent chunk of the cast, but then we might get a repeat of the GT experience...guhh interested to see how they'll handle the character representation.

Also, would like more info in general--curiosity's a killer. xD

I'm so curious as to what OP we'll actually get. I mean, it's not like Dragon Ball Kai where it doesn't matter so much. This is a brand new show that's hopefully going to define a whole new generation of Dragon Ball. Whatever gets chosen needs to be damn good.

To think we'll actually have a brand new opening that isn't just reanimated parts of the story we already know. It's so exciting to think about. Please don't just be strung together clips from Battle of Gods and Revival of 'F'!
I want them to lay Cha-la to rest, it's a new series for God's sake!

If Toriyama is going to continue with insisting that Gohan doesn't want to be a fighter and he continues to refuse to train, then I wish he'd just retire him in this series and let him play daddy or whatever and give an upgrade to Piccolo or something. A series revolving around Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo would kick ass kinds of ass.

Okay, guys. Million dollar question time:

Which English network do you think will snap up this show first?

My money is on Cartoon Network. They passed on DBZ Kai and Nicktoons profited big time from it. There is no way in hell they are going to pass on this.

Worst case scenario: Disney get their hands on this. :sick:

And Dragon Ball is STILL trending world-wide in twitter. I'm completely in awe at the reach Dragon Ball has, and it shows just how beloved it still is. Even fans who stopped following as they grew up, are exited at the prospect of a new series. This truly was a great day for a Dragon Ball fan, not just for the new series, but to see how popular it still is... :D

I think it would certainly be in CN's best interest to try to get the rights to this one. Don't know what Nicktoons might want to do at this point, but yeah, CN seems the most appropriate. Heck, Toonami would be awesome, but CN would want it to go to the biggest demographic, so I doubt it'd be there.
