Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
The one on the right seems to be the only "female" (Shinjin are supposed to be genderless though).
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
If that was the case then we wouldn't have Generations of Kai and would only have few Kai's to begin with.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:The one on the right seems to be the only "female" (Shinjin are supposed to be genderless though).

They are born from the fruit of the Kaiju, and their genders are irrelevant since they don't reproduce sexually or anything.

Really? Born from a fruit?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:They are born from the fruit of the Kaiju, and their genders are irrelevant since they don't reproduce sexually or anything.

Yes. At least on the most common explanation for them as given for Toriyama over the years, but he did kinda contradict himself in the Twel-Buu Mysteries Q&A (the bottom one)...but he got other Kaioshin details in that wrong that contradict his own manga, so I think most of us ignore it in favor of the first explanation.
Shinjin = Core People, Kaiju = World Tree, Kaishin = World Core
Shinjin = Core People, Kaiju = World Tree, Kaishin = World Core
- Super Exciting Guide/Full Color Q&A/Chozenshu:
The Kaiō are born and raised on a planet called the “Planet of the World Core”.
The Kaiō are born as “Core People” from the fruit of the gigantic World Tree on the Planet of the World Core. The planet’s population is about 80, and their lifespans are about 75,000 years. The Core People have no gender, and live laid-back lives, studying various things at a school-like castle. When a Kaiō on one of the Kaiō planets dies, the next Kaiō is chosen from among them by lottery. However, the Kaiōshin are only chosen from Core People born from a rare, special golden fruit.
Tewl-Buu Mysteries Q&A:
The Kaiōshin are said to have the highest status in the universe, but how can you become a Kaiōshin?
No one can. Kaiōshin are born as Kaiōshin. There are three of them, and they work in shifts. Though there are two of them on duty now, if one of the Kaiōshin were to die in an accident, then the currently-inactive Kaiōshin would grow in the Kaiōshin Realm like a plant. If there aren’t any accidents, then it’s said their lifespans are about 75,000 years.

Then the Kaioshin of Time must be REALLY special to be able to live for 75 Million years and still looks as young as she does.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Yes. We don't even know if Shin-jin age at all, or when they start to age (they may age in the last dozen of their years, for example). Rou Kaioshin looks old because he merged with that old witch.GoldLiger wrote:Then the Kaioshin of Time must be REALLY special to be able to live for 75 Million years and still looks as young as she does.

Xenoverse implies they age with Elder Kaioshin's comments on the TIme Kaioshin while he's your master, but I wouldn't take everything the game says as truth. It does have inconsistencies after all, including what Trunks sometimes states to be the "correct" events to have happened in history...and those not being what actually happened in the manga or anime.

Yeah I'm confused. That name doesn't make any sense either considering that version of Bardock's not even in Xenoverse.GreatSaiyaman3Gou wrote:Huh-what now? Bardock Xeno? Is that Masked Bardock's official name?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Bardock: Xeno is getting SS3.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
"Masked Saiyan" is the terminology used while he has the mask (obviously), and "Bardock: Xeno" is the official name for him once he loses it. The use of Xeno is obviously a nod at Xenoverse, but I'm not sure they mean to imply that this Bardock is from that game. They are clearly doing their own thing story wise, separate from Xenoverse. The S wrote:Yeah I'm confused. The translation of Xenoverse Dimps used was "uncharted territory", so Xeno in this sense likely just means uncharted; as in in unknown or unexplored.

I particularly remember when you stood by your claims that a 'blue mystic Vegeta' would be the one who destroys Frieza in Resurrection F. You were 100% certain and spoke down to anyone who said you've been misled. I am entirely confused as to where you get your information from but so far it's only made you look a bit silly. Please consider saving yourself the embarrassment from now on, and maybe you'll earn some credibility.GoldLiger wrote: Right and your random bout of amnesia made you forget that there was an event that prevented the natural progression when it comes to the whole class change. It is called RESURRECTION F MOVIE!!!
So at this point since the last set of missions gave then at the 3rd mission and it wasn't interrupted by movie then we will probably have to wait until GDM5 in November.
Personally I feel that the SSJ4 movement has come to a finish in Heroes. As much as Bardock has been milked dry, I don't see them making a SSJ4 Bardock.

Looks like Future Trunks in his TV Special outfit to me.

It certainly is Trunks. You can see his name written in those vertical yellow letters, and they correspond to the last part of GT Gotenks' horizontal name on the second row.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Looks like Future Trunks in his TV Special outfit to me.
Trunks: トランクス
Gotenks: ゴテンクス

Who said anything about a SS4 Bardock lol? You really need to read. Plus it was Toriyama that decided to screw Vegeta over not ME. Heck he is even screwing over DBZ Battle of Gods using Super.Wilderness wrote:I particularly remember when you stood by your claims that a 'blue mystic Vegeta' would be the one who destroys Freeza in Resurrection F. Back to topic: The Saiyan Avatars will receive SS4 sooner or later. Because I know Dimps wouldn't want to be called lazy and just give them the SSGSS transformation. Heck Dimps hates the form as we see in Xenoverse.
But anyway I hope we get a good trailer this time. I need my trailer fix lol.

Trunks: トランクス

So what do you guys think are the chances of UM3 being announced now with new avatars? There's so much new content they could add, and they could take advantage of NFC on the N3DS so players could scan cards into the game, assuming NFC is involved in the cards some how.... if that happens, I'll probably go broke buying cards.

And how exactly does Xenoverse show that Dimps hates SSGSS, because the game screwed over a lot of characters by making them suck.GoldLiger wrote:Who said anything about a SS4 Bardock lol? Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
By keeping base Goku and Vegeta's combos moveset. Also you know that when Trunks announces the name of the transformation in Heroes? He says Golden Frieza right? But when Goku and Vegeta go SSGSS he just says that they transformed or "henshin" he doesn't say "Supa Sayajin goddo Supa Sayajin". That is why I am confident that in one of these upcoming GDM's the saiyan avatars will go Super Saiyan 4BlazingBarrrager wrote:And how exactly does Xenoverse show that Dimps hates SSGSS, because the game screwed over a lot of characters by making them suck.GoldLiger wrote:Who said anything about a SS4 Bardock lol?
