Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Why would vegeta be drained?Unless stated he simply lost some water and after drinking he should be back refreshed.
If you want actual evidence.ssgss goku takes a good ass kicking from golden freeza and his power doesnt drop at all, on top of that goku fires a bazzilion kamehas at beerus in his fight.Plus goku fired some kamehas vs freeza and ki blasts and again his power didnt drop at all.
So unlike z where goku lost a ton of power from one kameha, now he has no such issues and can fight at max with no issues, even after taking a good beating and firing ki blasts and kamehas.
On top of that, we see that vegeta has better stamina than goku. So he can last even longer.

On DBZ characters put all their power on attacks such as Kamehameha and Final Flash (as the stakes were much higher than they are now)
Vegeta probably used a good amount of his SSJ energy to fire both the Galick Gun and the Final Flash but that power is so few for him as of now that it doesn't make any difference. While against Beerus he lost almost all his energy when he fired the Galick Gun as he put all his power in that single attack.
Against Freezer Goku probably lost a tiny bit of his power while Freezer lost a lot of his because of the ki draining drawbacks of his Golden form.

If Viz could land the rights to the manga release ahead of FUNImation getting the anime, I figure the sales would be a lot better for them because folks wouldn't have any other way to get to the new story legally. Maybe that's just wistful thinking.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Yes i know how it works. But vegeta showed no sign of fatigue after he broke the smaller arena walls.emperior wrote:On DBZ characters put all their power on attacks such as Kamehameha and Final Flash (as the stakes were much higher than they are now)

Even after the fight all vegeta needed was water, he wasnt shown breathing hard or what not.
So i doubt he used up that much energy.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
V-Jump released a teaser of the collected volume over on Twitter. Unfortunately, it looks as though they didn't bother including the Resurrection "F"/Golden Freeza adaptation. Not that there was much reason to believe they would, but still. I hate the fact that I'd be putting this on my self and the story will be incomplete.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Nice to have confirmation as I was wondering this myself. It's a shame because it will indeed be awkward to go from seeing a chapter end with setting up Resurrection F only for the immediate next page to have narration that they defeated Freeza.
Then again, I suppose it's equally as awkward for the three chapters to be included, only for them to end after Goku and Freeza fight a bit and we cut straight to the page I mentioned beforehand. Perhaps we should wait for the Kanzenban release where Toyotaro includes additional pages for us.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I also really wish Toyotaro finished his 'F' story. The main bulk of the Super story is going to be the content after the movies anyway, but it does leave an "incomplete" feeling.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:V-Jump released a teaser of the collected volume over on Twitter. The paper seems to be pretty decent, but it looks like the images bleed through a bit. That's about what I was expecting though, I still think that tankobon looks really nice.

Sad they're skipping his F chapters, but the way the spine image is set up makes me think there's probably one or two arcs after this tournament so there's that at least.

There could be more as they could easily extend that picture further.Chuquita wrote:Sad they're skipping his F chapters, but the way the spine image is set up makes me think there's probably one or two arcs after this tournament so there's that at least.

True. I guess it all depends on how well Super's doing.namekiansaiyan wrote:There could be more as they could easily extend that picture further.Chuquita wrote:Sad they're skipping his F chapters, but the way the spine image is set up makes me think there's probably one or two arcs after this tournament so there's that at least.
I at least want to see them visit Sadla. Tourist/history-comparing Vegeta just sounds so fun to me.

Sorry for sounding ignorant, but where was the spine shown? I'm interested in seeing thisChuquita wrote:Sad they're skipping his F chapters, but the way the spine image is set up makes me think there's probably one or two arcs after this tournament so there's that at least.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
The volume's official date is April 3rd so is there any chance it'll leak before that like V Jump ?
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
So on April 3rd we will have Toyotaro and Toriyama's interview?

It probably goes without saying that we have our copies on order and will of course translate and archive the interview here on the site (it will be done when it's done; we cannot and will not promise an exact timeframe). As always, be wary of incomplete and rushed translations from elsewhere on the Internet

Patience is a virtue! I'd rather wait on Kanzenshuu's trustworty translations than see other sites use their machine translations to be as quick and confusing to the fanbase as possible.

Do you guys think that if the first volume of the manga sells well that it will turn into a weekly publication? I mean, it's very unlikely, but who knows. If the numbers are good... I mean, crazier stuff has happened in Dragon Ball.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
No. It's very specifically created for V-Jump. There is not enough interest in a not-actually-drawn-by-Toriyama manga series for it to warrant a coveted spot in Weekly Shonen Jump. Sorry to rain on the parade of hopes and dreams, but folks really need to abandon any thought of this going weekly. That's not its point and that's not the weight being thrown behind it.Lord Beerus wrote:Do you guys think that if the first volume of the manga sells well that it will turn into a weekly publication? Oh well. But then again, I think of the stress and workload that you and the rest of the Kanzenshuu staff would have to put up with with a weekly Dragon Ball anime and manga.VegettoEX wrote:No. It's very specifically created for V-Jump.
