Highlights:

- Vegeta pretending to be as dumb as Goku about marriage
- "All scientists know where all other scientists live."
- Kuririn being dumb
- Dr. Gero not knowing how he made himself an android

Like 17 and 18's voices, looking forward to 16's, love the chiptune Cha-La Head Cha-La at the end.

He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Android 18's voice is perfect. Seriously like I'm in love lol. Cannot wait to see Krillin and 18 romance it up.

Android 17 was pretty good too! I like how he sounds young and has a creepy tone to it.. Really fitting!

Stoked to hear how 16 sounds like.

Oh and the music was top notch! Loved that music when 18 was activated.

Vegeta thinking marriage was food ^_^

I think over the years, I have started laughing harder when it actually gets bleeped over hearing the actual word.

"YOU F*CKING FAILURE!!!"

Great episode!
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

"oh god I solicited my son for sex"

I know I shouldn't have laughed at that in light of Ian Watkins, but that was hilarious.

Anyway, you guys missed a DECAPITATION! joke when Android 17 beheaded Gero

First off Ganxingba is fantastic as #17, I think I like him as much as Chuck Huber and Shigeru Nakahara.
Liked the Frap and Urio reference and the comedic forshadowing to Cell.
Also the #13 bit.

It's not often I LOL at stuff, but these last few episode I couldn't help but laugh out loud for real. So freaking clever, Kaiser!

I loved the episode, but I think you missed the opportunity to make another joke.
When they are with the "How?" jokes, you could have added a line about how Dr. Gero's hand has magically returned.

Definitely a slower episode, but it's a goodie. Plenty of great jokes.

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"

I really dug the voices for the androids. 17 was an improvement over Chuck Huber to my ears.

Every time a new episode comes I just think to myself. TFS needs to dub the official DBZ as well.

:lolno: . There are parody. Not official. Honestly there voices are made to be parody voices. You can look at me seriously and say TFS's Goku and Gohan can fit the official series
