Oh yea, nearly the same.
Conan and Dragonball crossover?

Well, Ran does martial arts (if I remember correctly) so it could be like..:
When an irate student at the Mr. Satan Martial Arts School is found dead from an extremely complex martial arts move, all signs point to "The Champ" himself. In an attempt to clear her father's name, Videl contacts her friend Ran from the next town over, knowing her father runs a detective agency only to find Ran's father as bumbling as Mark himself. Will Conan be able to clear Mark's name, or did he really do it?
Other suspects will be the school's secretary, the irate student's rival, Mr. Buu (for giggles), and one of the overnight custodians.
On hiatus.

Hey guys, has anyone speculated that maybe they are not THE Pilaf gang but actually their own children? xD And they see the Z-gang as a bunch of scary powerful freaks that terrorized their parents in youth?

Check out

I think you are talking about Rou Kaioshin? I can't think of anyone else being a he/she, except if you are referring to a guy or a gal.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Mr. Popo?
Also, now that he's been turned into a little kid (puppy?) Shu's weapon is far too big for him to use properly (which is kinda cute. XD ).

My guess is on Popo too, that and Kaioshin and Old Kai, since you'd think they'd be concerned about all of this too.
Hooray for new character designs at last! I'm loving all the new looks for everyone, but I think my personal favorite is Kuririn. His new hair just works better IMO than his Buu arc hairdo.
...Is it just me, or is Oolong wearing his outfit from his first appearance, just without the hat?

In the style everyone likes.

Woohoo! I mean, uh, cool.

Wait, if Kuririn, 18, and even Master Roshi are there ...where's Marron?
Maybe Mr. Popo is doing a part-time job as a baby sitter...

Oh wait, you're right...I haven't seen anything showing Marron except for the one screenshot in front of the dragon, where 18 is holding her.

And you'd be right!
Awww, I was hoping I was the only one who noticed the possible
Detective Conan homage.
Sure, it's not exactly the same, but I'd be surprised if the similarity wasn't a
little intentional.
Wow, all of the girls seem to be wearing pretty skin-tight clothes for this outing. Roshi should be very happy. Trunks in overalls looks cute as all hell. Oolong looks strange with less-floppy ears. That'll take some getting used to. I hope we do get to see Marron; I really like her despite her never doing anything. And a huge LOL at Gyūmaō.

I had a feeling you'd happen along eventually, but I can't say I expected it to be that quick.
Now we just need Goten to steal Gohan's glasses at some point, and to do the dramatic Conan pointing pose.
Whoa, looking over the character designs again, I think I just noticed something that I don't believe has been mentioned...not that it means much, since we already know Bils and Uisu are connected, but look at their...uh...whatever this part of their clothes are.
They've got that same diamond design going on.

If Uisu is the "creator" to Birusu's "destroyer", it makes the possibility of them as roommates even more entertaining.
*Envisions Birusu constantly destroying (for fun) the stuff Uisu creates when Uisu leaves the room, or destroying the stuff when Uisu is just out of range to be able to stop him in time, but can still clearly see what he's about to do, because Birusu trolls that way.*
You'd have to have a huge amount of patience to live with a giant magical cat who not only has destruction-finger-powers, but enjoys using it.
Meanwhile Shoko-fish allows this since as long as Birusu's mind is elsewhere he won't think about eating her. Earlier reports did say he keeps a lot of fish stocked in the house after all (though now this makes me wonder if they're live fish or frozen ones).
That sitcom idea that was mentioned a while back that involves these three plus Mr. Satan and Buu; I want to see that even more now. XD

I never caught the 'belt' thing until I saw them side-by-side on the main page, so I'm not surprised it slipped by everyone (including myself) until then really. It's kind of a small thing too.
CaBrPi wrote:I think it just hints even further that Whis is the God of Creation.
That's kind of what I was thinking too. I mean, the rest of the outfit is different, but if you look at Bils' collar thing, he has another yellow diamond...whereas in that same general location on Whis, is a long yellow line. It's almost like the markings do mean something kind-of. And the more I think about it, if Whis is the 'God of Creation', him turning out to be the true villain is actually VERY Dragon Ball, IMO. Sure, you expect a 'God of Destruction' to be evil, but a 'God of Creation'? That's just absurd...and thus feels like something Toriyama would do.

Oh have you all heard Sean Schemmel's tweets re this film? He seems to be leaning on the side of 'It won't be Funi who dubs it'

It's going to be interesting. I get the feeling that God of Creation has always been opposed to God of Destruction since the beginning from millions of years ago, kinda like Groudon and Kygore. Hmm, that kinda reminds me about Paragus betraying Broli.

We have been talking about this more than a couple of dozens pages ago. It's still up in the air. His tweet doesn't mean anything.
