To be fair: Most people who have ever used Masako seriously as Goku do not know how to direct him appropriately. I could get a much better, authentic Goku out of him if I sat down with him because I'm familiar with his range and tones. Most people keep directing him to act like Schemmel; this really doesn't work for his voice or tone.

Not saying it would be worthy of an actual dub, I'm just asking you not to base your opinions off those fandubs too much.

For what we got, id say Masako does just fine as he is. He has his own take on Goku just like Schemmel and Nazawa do and has no need to copy another's performance.

That sounds interesting. Do you think you could do a short video of that some time in the future?

Here you go everyone! MasakoX's TFS Goku in different pitches
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qXttL8P5rc
Voice your opinions please  .

Regular: Still funny and awesome.
Slightly Deep: Actually turned out amazing. I can honestly now see MasakoX doing a some-what serious Goku. My opinion has changed. Just need KaiserNeko voice direction(He knows the voice best I guess) and BAM! Serious Goku
More Deep: Annoying
High Pitched: Sounds JUST LIKE MasakoX's Kid Gohan. So this leads a question. DO TFS uses a voice pitch for Kid Gohan? .

Once again please give out your opinions.

Now then again this is just Sony Vegas voice pitch. So I don't know how MasakoX would deepen the voice..so um.......

I personally couldn't really tell much of a difference between the slightly deeper and regular pitches.

The slightly deeper pitch was interesting. Thanks for putting that together.

The only version of the Dragon Ball anime I follow nowadays is this show. For actual Dragon Ball I read the manga. So, its doesn't seem that strange to me.
But see the difference between you and him is that you're an actual fan of the series, you've seriously watched the anime before which has thus led you to read the manga etc. My friend however has no real interest in the series proper what so ever yet consistently watches DB-Abridged.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

That was pretty good, the slightly deep works pretty well and the more deep could work as a pretty good voice for SSJ4.

Thanks. I was honestly shocked on how well it came out. I honestly thought it would suck. But the slightly deep actually could work if given serious lines. I hope KaiserNeko sees it.

Definitely worth the wait. 17 and 18's waking up scenes were great  Watching this episode made me realize I always forget why he didn't wanna activate 16, since he was the only one focused on actually doing what he was programmed for

Also, was I the only one distracted by everyone saying Jero instead of Gero? Because I totally didn't see that coming :?

Amazing. Would MasakoX be able to do it himself?

I thought because #16 was a nature-lover like #8, he would've objected to Gero's plan to take over Earth after killing Goku. He's got a bomb too.

I think this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that MasakoX can do Goku in a non-parody environment.

It's Christmas Eve here, so I'm watching my favourite Christmas movie, The Christmas Tree of Might. :D

Think it might be the best thing TeamFourStar has ever put out. Still makes me laugh, even though I've rewatched it countless times. Can't believe it came out 3 years ago.

Actually, we at TFS kind of feel the same way. We're really proud of it not just as a parody of ToM, but also as a Christmas special. We don't feel like we could ever top it!

I laughed much harder than I should at "CGI hand farts".

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

That was pretty good. I wish Honest Trailer did the video on their own because you don't need to be a fan to know that DBE is a bad movie. I'm hoping CinemaSins will rip DBE into pieces one day.
