I dont see a correlation. We saw what it was used for so what are you talking about?

I mean we went so long without seeing it after the fight with Beerus only for them to bring it back for a few minutes and now it's seemingly gone again ? why bother and mess up the continuity for just that very short amount of time ?

In what way was the continuity messed up? There was no statement made in the series that said Goku could not use it anymore as far as I'm aware. How would the ssjgss form be possible with no ssjgod?
The form is useless jiren since its weaker than blue.

What needs to happen is, Goku's completely beat up, finished by Jiren and his body wreaked seemingly beyond repair because of KK20, goku falls unconscious on the ground..
But his unconscious body beings to float like an invisible man is pulling him up grabbing his belt..
Goku begins leaking an extraordinary ki, what is born is pure power controlled by nothing but his Saiyan instincts, there is no Goku here simply his battle instincts, thus he begins to move without thinking, which his body learns..

But jiren knocks him out because he was simply acting on mere instincts without his extensive battle knowledge, there is only so much muscle memory and an unconscious mind can do..

All the episodes after are hit, Vegeta, Saiyan girls and Gohan holding jiren off until Goku regains consciousness, all the while piccolo is mediating and trying to pour energy into him to wake him up..

Yeah... That's about it..

How exactly are those scrubs gonna hold off Jiren for multiple episodes when Jiren trashed ssjb kaiokenx20 Goku in like 1-2 episodes who is stronger than all of them combined?
Sure Hit could hold him off for about 1 full episode but after that?

Hit one, Vegeta the other, Frieza third, Gohan/17/piccolo... there are possibilities

The anime gave the impression that the form was only possible through the ritual as no one used it afterwards yet now Goku can out of nowhere.

I don't see how Goku using the Kaioken and Spirit Bomb automagically means this. That's like saying the Future Trunks Saga was just a retread of the Android/Cell Saga because it had Trunks and time-travel.

Well Trunks is literally about time travel so I dont see anything wrong with that, while in Jiren's case, he's not exactly Freeza so I dont get why Goku V Jiren had to sound so awfully similar to Goku V Freeza, KKx20 then spirit bomb was literally what happened in the Freeza arc, until Goku's new form popped out which in this case will also happen. I would have called the Black arc out if Goku gave Black a senzu and told him he had push Trunks in which Black kills a random character infront of Trunks and that triggers his transformation like Gohan's SSJ2.

The Kaioken and Spirit Bomb also happened in the Saiyan Saga. Also, Goku's form in the Freeza Saga was a rage transformation. That doesn't seem to be the case here.

Really, the similaries are shallow.

The exact mention of the multiplier x20 is what pushes me into the thought, heck who knows, up until now I dont even know if what Goku does is a transformation or a technique.

lol it's true. I fully expect Goku to get stomped and fight Jiren a second time in a later episode. Personally, I'd love to see Goku beat Jiren in the end. I don't see Goku being eliminated in 110, and the fact he's fighting Jiren early makes me think he'll fight him again as spoilers pretty much already says he gets bodied.
