Certainly works with the episodes and bloopers of the specials. The difference in quality between the two is certainly there.
This one doesn't seem to have a different.

The hardworking people over at TFS give the Daizex crew, and Jeff, a shoutout. Must feel nice...

I actually have seen it work for a few other videos , though, such as that vid that ect5150 has on youtube where Vegeta fires a Big Bang Attack at Android 19, but not much else...
It probably depends on the quality. Take this vid, for example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g06uqZpcAH8&
Pretty bad quality, and there's no HQ option, but if you put "&fmt=18" it will look better. But do it for Gokuden's vids. It doesn't do anything.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

It ends up looking and sounding so much better.
I meant something other than a Youtube encode, something that doesn't make my eyes bleed when I view it full screen.

Yea, I would really love to watch this with my friends on a TV via my PS3, but youtube just sucks on the PS3. This abridged series would be a definite download for me. If I had it downloaded, I would watch it way more often. It just feels like somthing this professional is too good for just youtube.

Heh heh, I LOLed when were ripping on lazy cosplay (L!) and new anime series. "Bleach....I liked that show better when it was called 'Yuu Yuu Hakusho'....and I liked
that show better when it was called 'Dragonball Z!'"

Haha true. To say nothing of Naruto (the bastard love child of Dragon Ball and Flame of Recca). And then there's Buso Renkin.
I feel I've gotta represent YYH and say to it's defense that the manga started around the same time as DBZ (though DB most certainly predates it).
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

Loved the latest video calling out each and every DaizEX podcast host/semi-host. The Bleach and YYH comparison woulda just sounded like fanboy wanking on any other video

.
On a somewhat more serious note, I was wondering if the guys on Team Four Star treat this abridged project like a fandub in the case of some characters, using the voices they think best suit the characters. Though I guess the podcast interview kinda answers that question already. I dunno, maybe you guys have any additional thoughts aside from those brought up in that podcast episode?

I really loved the AWA episode. You guys are getting pretty popular, even here in my college. In fact the first episode was shown at an organization event I just came back from. The whole room was laughing.
So great job guys!

Pretty funny little special, I expecially love the use of the voice of the teacher from The Peanuts; it really helped give Yemma a childish and not-very-smart feel. Very funny little video over all, I can't wait for the next episode!
And by the way, I realy fall deeper and deeper in love with your guys' TFS symbol every time I see it. I was wondering, who was behind it and how long did it take to make?

It probably took me somewhere around 5 hours to get it all laid out and finished. Glad you like it! It's one of my favorite pieces.

Enma/Yemma is simply hilarious in this last little spot.
Really looking forward to the next episode. This past month has been a little dry, at least it feels like it has been.

It has been, we know that.
Episode 6 has been a hassle considering we have a LOT to cover in this one. Episode 7 will go a lot faster, as will all the episodes after. This one just had many problems, such as rewriting half the script... twice... switching Tenshinhan's actor from Masako to Ganxingba... the utter hell it's been to make some of these scenes work the way the script wants them...
It'll be a solid episode, reminiscent of Episode 2. Just wait a little longer you guys!
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Ouch man, sorry to hear that. I didn't know Masako was originally slated to voice Tenshinhan! I didn't know Masako had such range, or possible lack of considering the change.
Gan, considering his Enma voice, I suspect will be pulling a John Burgemeir impression.
I think my biggest concern was a lack of communication from you guys that was scaring me the most, but with this acknowledgement I feel much better.

This abridged series amuses me to no end. I really enjoy and look forward to every video you guys release.
Just a note, "Nappafinger" has had me laughing for the past 4 days.
And the AWA special was awesome as well! I loved the reference to other anime!
