Eh, I feel this board deserves more than just a copy/paste of my thoughts from another board, but since people are looking for info:

Well, the infamous fifth set has arrived. As expected, we now have the Kikuchi score. Even the menu screen music has been replaced with Kikuchi music.

Sonny Strait sings the new version of Dragon Soul.

The Kikuchi score, as has been discussed, sounds decidedly low-quality compared to everything else. I don't think a new mix was created for it, but someone else with better equipment can probably give a better opinion of it.

The eye-catcher music remains the same. The preview music remains the same. I'm two episodes in, and the dub is as great as ever.

I'm now four episodes in. I must say, that the Kikuchi pieces used in all of the episodes I've watched so far have fit perfectly. I'm noticing more pieces from early DBZ than I ever heard on the Nicktoons or Toonzai airings.

We finally get to hear the new ending dubbed, and it sounds nice from what I can tell. I never heard much of the Japanese version of the song, so it's hard for me to judge. It appears though that the ending credit footage was edited. The words "DRAGON BALL KAI" that scrolls through the screen has had a "Z" inserted so it reads "DRAGON BALL Z KAI". What a worthless change.
