Lemme start by saying I'm not against Goku not getting the win. We see it all too often, where even though Goku is the Golden-boy ( sometimes literally) he doesn't always get all the credit. And that's what makes the show entertaining. Hell, in the saiyan saga even Yadjaorbe saves the day, Gohan is the victor of the Cell saga, etc.
We have pictures of some sort of techinique or form of Goku that is presumable going to show case during this current saga. We all know this as Limit Breaker Goku.
I dont think Goku will get this new form( if it is infact a form) during the actual fight with Jiren. By the looks of things Jiren will tickle Goku's private parts even after KKX20 and Genki Dama.
Then supposedly we have Hit vs Jiren? (Is this the end of Hit then? )
Then Vegetas Resolve? (Against who, Jiren?) I dont like that because it seems as though they are just setting up Vegeta to take the L. I hope he Goes up against Toppo and some other heavy hitters and shows us all why he is the Prince !
I just can't see them hyping up Limit Breaker Goku, then have him lose in the same 1 hour "special". If Goku loses AFTER he gets the new form, then no one should stand a chance, even with some POS writing. Goku has the ultimate plot-armor, so I don't think he gets eliminated, nor do I believe he gets his new form....at least not yet. What if for SOME "Super" reason, Jiren bounces the Genki Dama back at Goku, and we all think that Goku got knocked out, then we find out that the Spirit Bomb actually absorbed into his body (bc reasons), and THIS leads to him unlocking Limit Breaker, or it's actually just a techniqe via Genki Dama Transfusion aka (Goku GDT haha) This process takes a little time to take place and that's why you have the few episodes where it doesnt' seem that Goku is in the fight anymore. We all think Goku is done, and Jiren is straight wrecking everyone, and lets say Goku comes in at the last minute to save the likes of Frieza. That'd be so much cooler! (pun very much intended)
That theory isn't my favorite as it's TOO similar to how Goku " achieved" SSG. He takes powers of others as his own. That's horse crap. Dbz was so awesome to watch because people trained their balls off to achieve new forms or better senses. I know this isn't Dbz, but same principle applies. Goku 1st unlocked his SSJ form because he lost his best friend. It's a tremendously moving scene in Dbz. If there is in fact a new transformation for Goku, then I hope it's achieved by either him training, or because of a circumstance that pushes him into it.
And what's to say that the fighter who we haven't seen yet doesn't come into play as a real heavy hitter and take Jiren out? When the top gun is out gunned by mystery contestant that might spice things up. Hype Jiren up this whole time just so he can boost the real big baddie? Then big baddie is flicking people off left and right, and Goku and Gohan BOTH achieve their forms together at the same time! Did you just wet your pants thinking about it? I did!! Just thought of that theory, tha'ts the one I want! Father and Son tag team against Uber Terror of the Void! Okay, I'm done.
