After peace has returned to Earth following the protagonist Son Goku's titanic battle with Majin Boo, a mysterious phenomenon occurs as nearby planets disappear. Goku and the gang's battle against a new threat is depicted.

In BOG Beerus wasn't destroying planets so it looks like this is going to be a retelling of their first meeting with him which based on Toriyama's comment might be on another planet.

So from what I've seen of the first chapter their re-writing the events of battle of gods into a series.

To be honest I like this idea.

If Dragon Ball Super is gonna really gonna take place let's just hope that Toriyama doesn't repeat the mistakes of GT and make the space exploration boring. Also, Jaco must appear. I will accept no less than Jaco joining in the space adventures.

I don't see how Toriyama's comment implies Dragon Ball Super is taking place in space, unless I've missed some other information.

Its also nice to see Beerus is is same old self in the series. Hopeful will get to see more of what he can really do.

With just a few panels and what I assume will be the first episode he's already destroyed a planet. His fight with Goku might be grander then the movies if we're lucky (not that their was anything wrong with the original fight).

Fingers crossed for Resurrection F getting the same treatment, we might get to see Frieza training.

Also Father/Son moment for Goku and Goten yay!

Why only Goku and Vegeta?! Piccolo should just come back to the game and become as strong as them.
Goten and Trunks should tag along and get character development. Instead of always using fusion, let them grow up individually.

Gohan seems to be a lost cause.

Krillin can make a great duo and become a Galatic Patrol with Jaco. Make his cop side not be a movie only thing.
Yamcha could join them but if Gohan is a lost cause, Yamcha is non-existent.

I don't think Piccolo would want to go with them, he's the solitary type, and I don't think Goku and Vegeta would let Trunks and Goten go. I would like to see Piccolo gain relevance again, though. Gohan I think will continue to do Gohan things and study, and when the right time comes, we'll see him shine like we did during the Cell saga. I could see Gohan maaaybbbee wanting to go to study and document the 12 universes, but Goku and Vegeta probably wouldn't want him to go, they want the action for themselves and not have anyone else get in the way.

I could definitely see Gohan joining Krillin in the Galactic Patrol, though, he would love it, he'd get to do his Great Saiyaman poses. I bet he would even out do Jaco and embarrass him.

Goku always only use 1 kamehameha per fight.

Really? I thought he used quite a few during his fight with Piccolo. But thinkingg about Z only then yes most of the time he dose only use one the only exception I can think of is Frieza.

I didnt mean I want to see him spam the Kamahamaha. I just want his fight to be a little more like his fight with Golden Frieza where he doesn't just limit himself to melee. Then again I suppose Goku really didn't have his head in the game for most of their fight plus in Goku's eyes it was more of a sparring match until Beerus told him they weren't playing around.
