That is one of the most badass looks Goku did in Super, the way he was slowly standing up.. and yeah it does look like he's gonna absorb the GD, those black lightnings were awesome! I hope his new form has those as effects when he pumps up his aura.

When Goku is standing up, his hair look to be the same as base, so it doesn't look like he's transformed at that point just survived.

Anyway I'm not sure why a lot of people are sullied by the idea of this form being as a result of Goku absorbing. I'd much rather it be something like this on the spot and not something already gained like SS3, SSGSS.

See, Prime remind me of primates. A Saiyan could be taken as a primate. Prime also gives an idea of primitive, original or top form. Just a theory, though.

That line from one of the pieces of promotional art we saw about the time of the gods being over or something was very curious. I wonder if Goku will reach his new form by literally using up every bit of god ki in his body? Though I don't know if that would qualify as something terrible happening as another promotional piece described.

While I would prefer your normal rage type thing and poof *transformation triggered* rather than the GD absorption theory, I wouldnt mind it that much since the end result is Goku's form looks freaking badass (I wonder what kind of name they'll give it, I'm used to calling it Limit Breaker Goku by now but knowing as Super is literally in the title of the show I would be surprised if they dont include "Super" in the form's name)

And the amount of $h*t Toei got for it was next level. Especially absorbing it into a transformed state. It's almost like Toei is canonizing every single criticism the fandom has ever had about something they did as if there was some ulterior motive....

lol but I'm interested in seeing what happens, the lore behind it, and the fan reaction to it.
